Microwave Corn on the Cob

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2012
Better yet........leave the husk & silk on.......put in the micro for 8 minutes.........cut the "stem" end off.........take hold of the silky end...shake and the corn falls right out......not need to be pulling silk & husk off........ENJOY!!!! PS be sure to use hot pads.

Irish Coffee

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2012
Great around the campfire......or anywhere......add a little cinnamon for a different taste. You can also use creme de cocoa...and for a sweeter taste......add amoretto or almond extract for an Italian taste.

Slow Cooker Swiss Steak

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2010
I have been making this for years.... only I call it STEW.......and it is always a HIT..also if you don't want to use tomatoes and veggies......use a can of cream of mushroom soup....a little liquid smoke and sliced yellow onions and garlic over the top..and I DON'T cut the meat up...(it shreds as it cooks).....also great on rice.

Red and Green Christmas Jalapeno Jelly

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2010
This was FANTASTIC....everyone loved it and have asked for the recipe. I put some in jelly jars with crackers and cheeses etc for Christmas gifts. We not only use this on crackers, but also on chicken, steak and pork when we BarBQue. It's great !!! Next time I will add more Jalapeno peppers( as we like hot spicy foods) and some red flaked peppers.

Shaved Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Almonds

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2009
I took this to Christmas (potluck) and for those that liked brussel sprouts it was well accepted. I followed the recipe but found it I added fresh mushrooms, onions, parma cheese, oregano and some red pepper flakes (as I like a bite to my food). Also instead of the vinegar, I used rhine wine. I agree with others...I used 4lbs of Brussels sprouts....and it WAS way to much...I put it in a 9by12 cake pan...brimming full....and baked it covered with foil...there was too much to try to cook it in a stove top pan. The oven worked GREAT !!
