Blonde Brownies I

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2012
Good easy recipe but a tablespoon of vanilla is way too much. I used a teaspoon the 2nd time.

Manicotti

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2012
Easy simple recipe. I don't cook my noodles ahead of time. I just put them in a large bowl with some hot water while I make the filling. They're easy to stuff that way and will cook all the way thru when you bake it.

Three Cheese Manicotti II

Quick to make using jar sauce if you are short on time and I softened the shells in hot water prior to stuffing. They cooked just fine in the oven with the sauce and I added 1/2 cup of water while cooking.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2010
Delicious easy recipe. I baked the chicken breasts after sprinkling some grilling spices and then cut and added to a pkg of frozen mixed veggies. I skipped the celery as I don't like the taste and added some diced potatoes. I used puff pastry for the top although you could also use crescent rolls if you had them in a pinch. This made enough for 3 people and I had enough sauce and veggie/chicken left to freeze for later.

Easy French Dip Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
So easy and finally a recipe my whole family liked; a rarity in itself. I used a can of beef stock and added a pack of Lipton onion mushroom soup mix. I let the roast beef simmer on low for about 10 minutes. I would add some grilled onions on top next time. All in all, so yummy.

Outrageously Buttery Crumb Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
Easy recipe but a little bland. I think I would change the cake to a lemon cake to punch it up a little bit. The topping really does make a lot; I didn't use all of it and still had a nice layer.
