Pasta Salad with Homemade Dressing

Reviewed: May 18, 2013
I forgot to add the provolone! I even had it in the fridge, but it was good anyway. I also added marinated mushrooms... just because I like them. No one noticed it was missing the cheese.

Buffalo Wontons

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2012
I took the idea of chicken wontons and ran with it in my own direction. I used a pre-made buffalo sauce mixed with a little bit of sour cream and a bit of ranch dressing mix with the shredded chicken. Then, I sprayed my muffin tin and lined with wonton wrappers. I filled the wrappers up with the buffalo chicken mixture, topped with a sprinkle of shredded cheese and baked it in the oven for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees. They turned out nice and crispy. My husband and I both enjoyed them. We ate them with celery, ranch dressing, and mac and cheese.

Peanut Butter Pancakes

Delightful! The peanut butter makes them slightly more dense and they aren't too peanut buttery.

Strawberry Cake and Frosting II

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2011
I didn't use the frosting that was suggested, but the cake was amazing. I made the batter just as suggested in two round pans for a layered cake. I put raspberry preserves between the layers, because I didn't have strawberry. It was delicious. I topped the cake with cream cheese icing and decorated it for my Father-in-law's birthday... strawberry is his favorite. We all thought it was delicious.

Restaurant-Quality Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2011
Pretty good! :) used the suggestions of others and halved the cornstarch, potato flakes, and half&half. I also added 1/2 c of milk to substitute the half&half that I omitted. It was plenty thick. I did add some extra spices just to make it a little more flavorful! I think next time I might try the cheddar flavored potato flakes.

Tortellini Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
I added some chicken and spices just to make it a little heartier and it was very yummy! It needed a little kick for our taste so we spiced it up a bit with the green tabasco sauce!

Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
Maybe not quite unbelievable, but more like pretty good. I am not sold on it being a staple at our house, but the marinade had a nice flavor.

Chicken Creole with Chile Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2010
Delicious! I can definitely see this becoming a regular meal. I used a can of Rotel with lime instead of just the chilis and topped it with a little cilantro. I served it over rice and black beans! YUM!

Margarita Pie II

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2010
This definitely was a change in our household... since I usually make something with chocolate! It was a bit tart, but I suppose that's the way Margaritas are. I didn't add any of the alcohol and it still set up just fine. :)

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2010
Delicious! My husband really enjoyed this tenderloin. I didn't have any Burgundy wine, so I used marsala cooking wine. It was yummy! I also added mushrooms and omitted onion and celery because I didn't have them on hand.

Strawberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2010
I didn't have strawberry jam on hand, so I used Raspberry. they were okay, but I was really craving a good muffin. They were not exactly what I was hoping for. I think they would be really good with apple or pear preserves for a little more texture.
