I made this for Mother's Day brunch for 7 people. It was fantastic & a very pretty & aromatic dish. My house smelled like an IHOP all day :-) I followed the advice of other reviewers and only used 10 eggs, lite cream cheese (should've cut that down to 1.5 packages instead of 2) Also added a little skim milk & powdered sugar to the cream cheese and whipped the to spread evenly over the bread. I also increased the amount of blueberries in the syrup and the dish itself - 1 pt for each. I used the Splenda/Sugar blend in the syrup instead of straight sugar & flour paste instead of corn starch. I forgot to add the butter in the sauce and couldn't tell the difference. This was a simple dish to make ahead for a nice brunch. Served with some bacon and fresh fruit and everyone was full and happy. Also thought the dish was rich and sweet even with the reductions in fat & using Splenda.
