The best corned beef i have made thus far- we did not find the flat cut as others suggested, but the tip cut was good as well. we did use 2 bottles of Guinness to cover the meat, and did extend the cook time by about 45 minutes.. was good, tender, etc...but still could have cooked longer to fall apart more! thanks so much for sharing this recipe
