Miso Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2011
Delicious and super-easy! I used firm tofu and added some seaweed like some of the other reviewers suggested but I'm sure it would be fine either way.

Lentil Quiche

This was excellent! Will definitely make again! Only change: pressed a few garlic cloves into the onion and oil mixture before the first bake.

Bengali Dhal

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
This is delicious! I had never cooked anything Indian before and was a little skeptical but it turned out great. Advice to others...do not buy the turmeric from the spice aisle like I almost did. Buy it from the Oriental food section. The difference? One 3 oz. bottle for $9 or one 14oz. bag for $3.

Bacon Wrapped Hamburgers

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2009
Yummy, yummy, yummy!! I make these with ground turkey and red onion. Don't even use the bacon most of the time; they are great without it!

Nothing fancy but good and moist. You definitely only need about half of the bread crumbs.

This turned out to be a soggy mess. I should have listened to the other reviews and baked the crescent rolls first.

Greek Lemon Chicken Soup

Great recipe! Pita bread for dipping is a good idea and I added a few dashes of cayenne but I'm a little on the spicy side.

Jenn's Out Of This World Spaghetti and Meatballs

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2009
This is great! My husband even liked it and he doesn't usually care for pasta. I used ground turkey instead of ground beef since we don't eat red meat. I see that some people didn't like that much sugar but we loved it! Will definitely make again. (Makes a great meatball sandwich, too)

King Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2009
This is a great recipe and relatively easy to make although very time-consuming. My only complaint is that the "ready time" says 2hrs 45min. It takes the dough that much time to rise!
