Country Pound Cake

Made this for my husband's birthday in a bundt pan. Got many compliments on how moist it was! Followed recipe exactly. Will make again.

Made these for our bbq memorial day weekend. Actually turned out awesome! Juicy and everything. Added 1/2C breadcrumbs per some other's advice because it was a bit wet to make patties that would stay on the grill. o/w same recipe.

Pumpkin Ginger Cupcakes

I loved these! Made cream cheese frosting to go with. Only thing is - could not find a 3.4 oz package of pudding mix... all I could find was 1 oz packages. Anyone encounter this?

Chicken Skewers with Thai Chili Sauce

This was wonderful! Didn't have skewers, so I just made "meatballs" and put them in a pita with diced tomato, onion, and ketchup pretty much as recommended in the recipe. Will definitely buy more ground chicken to make more of these.

Spicy Shrimp (Chingri Maach)

Made this with my sister-in-law for my Bengali husband. We didn't change anything except put in 1tbs sour cream at the end (instead of the yogurt suggested, didn't have any). Aunthentic and yummy! Be careful with the peppers, it really does add kick.

Veggie No Boiling Lasagna

I was skeptical about the uncooked lasagna, but I tried it out anyways. It was wonderful! Noodles were cooked perfectly. I used one bottle of generic pasta sauce and a colby/cheddar cheese mixture, but those were the only changes. Otherwise, followed recipe exactly!

Strawberry Muffins

I've made this twice with the recommendations that other reviewers have given (1/2 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 cup brown sugar) and it's awesome. Not too sweet and my husband loved them.

Banana Pancakes I

This recipe was perfect! I added 1/2-1 tsp vanilla as other people have said. I am the worst pancake-maker ever, but somehow I've made this perfectly every time. Thanks!

Beaker's Vegetable Barley Soup

I can't stop eating this! I followed other people's reviews and sauteed the onion and spices with some minced garlic before adding chicken broth and the rest of the ingredients. We added some sprigs of fresh cilantro before serving which also added a little flavor kick.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Awesome recipe! These cookies were cake-like. I would love some advice on how to make them more cookie-like. Also, I felt the recipe makes 24, not 36 cookies. But these are perfect-tasting cookies, even when baked by a complete novice like me.
