About this Cook
My husband is in the military and is super skinny. He told me when we first got married that I was never going to be able to cook him anything unless it came out burnt. Well now he tells people that I can just follow directions really well.
My favorite things to cook
I love making deserts because I love eating them. I also like to cook beef and vegtables of some kind.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Well most of my family can't cook. My mom has gotten so used to burning things that now she purposly burns things because she likes the burnt taste. I think it's really weird. Every now and then you'll catch me pulling some of her moves. My latest advernture was boiling water and forgeting about it. I realized when I started smelling something funny.
My cooking triumphs
I can cook some mean cobbler and burritos. My husband came home and said what do you think your professional when I was garnishing the plate.
My cooking tragedies
Well, I've had many but that is what makes you a good cook. I would have to say the funniest tragedy when cooking was when I was making sugar cookies and forgot to add the sugar. They tasted like dog biscuts. Not that I would know what they taste like but (lol) my sister does.

Blueberry Scones
Love this recipie. Mine turned out a little hard to work with but the taste made up for it. I wasn't making them for anyone other than my family so to look like a scone, wasn't a must.

Jazzy New Orleans Chicken
Different taste than the usual. For New Orleans to be in the name I was expecting a bit more cajun spices. It was great but I did add some cajun spices into mine and I was generous.

Chipotle Smashed Potatoes
This is a super spicy smashed potato recipie. So if you like spicy you will probably like this. I made it for a work function and everyone raved! I did mark it spicy. I made it just the way it reads and it was fantastic.
