Jalapeno Hummus

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2010
Love this hummus!! It was a huge hit at our last family gathering - even those that didn't typically like hummus were raving about this recipe. Thanks for sharing :)

Blackberry BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2009
This bbq sauce was perfect on the beef ribs I cooked for my husband's birthday. They were sweet, tangy, and had a kick of spice at the end. I added a little more cayenne pepper and seedless blackberry jam because as written it had a little too much ketchup for my taste. Also used white wine vinegar instead of red (only because I didn't have red). I will definitely use this recipe again. Can't wait to try it on chicken! Thanks so much for sharing.

Flaky Crescent Mushroom Turnovers

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2009
This is my go to appetizer for the holidays. They are very easy to do and you can make the mushroom mixture ahead of time. I do like to add some herbes de provence to the mushrooms (about a teaspoon). I have also added shallots in place of the onion. Everyone asks for the recipe and no one can eat just one!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2009
This is the only pumpkin bread recipe I use! Sometimes I like to add chocolate chips or nuts but it's perfect just the way it is.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
This chicken was delicious. It became so tender that even the bones started to disintegrate! I quadrupled the quantity of spices so I could keep the mix on hand for quick prep.

Pesto Cheesy Chicken Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
Our chicken had good flavor but unfortunately turned out to be a little dry after 50 min. of cooking. It never browned on top either... I like the idea though and next time will make some modifications to suit our taste. Thanks for the recipe!

Frank's® Red Hot® Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2009
This recipe is oh so tasty! My only recommendation would be to use fresh chicken instead of canned. It makes a huge difference. Love it with veggies, chips, you name it :)

Meatloaf with Sour Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2009
This was my first attempt at meatloaf... memories of my mother's meatloaf have kept me away for years. I really enjoyed this recipe but must say I subbed fresh thyme for the dill. The sauce definitely enhanced the loaf without overpowering. We served it with pasta. I will make it again, thanks!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2009
Oh my! This was a-mazing! The flavors melded perfectly together and really did taste like a popper. I used panko bread crumbs and freshly grated parm on top as suggested. I could've eaten the whole darn thing. A must for any party!

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2009
Made this for Valentine's day this year. We used a strawberry cake mix with "whipped" whipped cream flavored icing. I used my own recipe for ganache to cover the balls. They were fantastic! I love the idea and will be making them again very soon. Thanks!

Maple Glazed Ribs

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2009
We really liked this recipe. Refreshing change from bbq sauce. The ribs smelled so good while grilling! We served this with sweet potatoes and a salad. Tastes like fall! Yum :)
