Shredded Beef Tacos with Lime

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2013
I loved the simplicity of this, and the beef was tender. I just thought it was lacking a little zing. I will definetly make it again, just might tweek it a little to add a bit more flavor. Thanks for sharing..

Creamy Italian Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2012
I am on this site daily looking for something fast, easy and different and of course tasty to make for dinner. This was absolutely the easiest, most delicious recipe ive come across in a long time. My kids, who dont like anything loved it... (that's a huge compliment). I used neufchatel cheese to cut down on fat and low fat creme of chicken soup. The sauce is rich and delicious. I served with white rice and steamed carrots on the side. I might try adding frozed green peas next time, but the recipe is perfect the way it is. couldnt have been easier too. thanks for sharing !

Chicken Puffs

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2012
These were delicious and very easy to make. I added chopped mushrooms when sauteing the garlic and onions and it gave it that extra special touch which took it from great to superb! i disagree with the posts that said not to use reduced fat croissants. I did and the recipe came out beautifully. Very rich, but worth it....will definetly make again. thanks for sharing.

i agree with one of the reviewers that said to add more than the called for two cups of apples. it looked like alot when i cut them up, but the end result -- add a full cup more it wont be too much. othewise a nice breakfast bread.

Savory Pork Stew

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2011
i really liked the golden, creamy consistency of this stew. I omitted the corn and added cut up butternut squash and threw it all in the crock pot. next time i will use even less potates and more squash. Will definetly make this again.

Spiced Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2011
after roasting the squash, and sauteeing the onions, leek and garlic, i put all ingredients in the crock pot for the entire day. The result was a deep, rich flavor. The only thing i would change is i would omit the cayenne pepper or at least limit it to a sprinkle. The bite of the cayenned detracted from the rich, deep flavor of the soup. definetly would make this again without the cayenne. tx for sharing!

Shrimp Francesca

Reviewed: May 20, 2010
I use alot of recipes from this site but usually dont take the time to review them. This dish was fantastic and super quick and easy yet tasted elegant like from a four start restaurant, I whipped this together in literally minutes. My 14 year old said it was the best thing she's ever eaten, and my nine yeal old who only eats chicken fingers said it looked good, "even to her!!". I served it along side yellow rice. The only thing I might do next time is add an 1/8 of a cup of dry white wine to make a little bit of a sauce but that's a prefernce., the recipe was outstanding as is., thanks for sharing!!

Barbeque Pork Two Ways

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2009
I cut up a 3.5 lb shoulder in the crock pot. Put the ingredients in,exact to recipe. It seemed to cook fast. After a few hours, I got hard lumps of pork. Disappointed, I kept it cooking and went out for dinner. Came home that night and threw the whole crock pot in the refrigerator and cooked it for a few more hours the next day. (total about 8.) Let it cool then it shred perfectly and was the most delicious pulled pork sandwhich I ever had!!!

Italian Bread Using a Bread Machine

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
I make homemade bread alot and this is one of the best tasting, easiest breads I 've ever made. My kids devour it. Tip, since I start it in the bread machine, I give it an extra rise before baking to intensify the flavor.

Ultimate Cranberry Pudding Cake

really just okay, nothing spectacular, without the butter sauce, the cake would have been pretty bland. would not make again. The picture looks better than it actually tastes

Mussels Mariniere

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2009
Recipes was quite tasty, however to get that restaurant style taste, I almost tripled the garlic. The next tie I will add more of almost all the seasonings and the butter. Also, be sure to use a dry white wine such as sauvignon blanc or pinot grigio. I used a reisling because that's all I had and it was too sweet. The wine you use will make or break it. Otherwise, simple, fast and great.
