Roasted Garlic

Honestly, the dish needs seasoning. I increased the temp to 350 and baked for 30 min. as many reviewers suggested. Turned out perfectly! However, just a bit of salt and pepper made a world of a difference.

To Die For Fettuccine Alfredo

Outstanding recipe! I did make changes though and these were based on other reviewers. I did cut the butter down to 3/4 cups and I used 2 cloves of fresh garlic instead of garlic salt. Outstanding! And many possibilities for variations. Will be making this again!

Beef Fondue with Sauces

I gave this recipe 4 stars since I did not care for the mustard sauce. I liked the curry sauce, but I did take the advice of another reviewer and only used half the curry powder. I too think it is a bit strong and was happy with the result. With the onion-horseradish sauce, I added a dash of salt and pepper as well as a big spoon of sour cream to lighten the sauce up.

Kris' Lentil Sausage Soup

Fantastic soup! I did make a few variations. I used smoked kabanossi instead of kielbasa. I also substituted the canned tomatoes with tomato paste. Lastly I left out the bay leaves and instead I added a dash of worcestershire sauce and Italian herb seasonings. Fab!

Strawberry Cake from Scratch

I made this cake for my son's 4th birthday. Very disappointing! Too dense and too sweet. I even did as others suggested. I reduced the sugar and gelatin as well as folded in the egg whites. Luckily I baked this the day before so I had enough time to do another cake!

Easy Meatloaf

Great meatloaf! My kids and hubby love it. I did half BBQ sauce and half ketchup and left out the mustard. I also did half ground beef and half ground pork. Delicious!
