Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2008
This is really a very good recipe. It gives the apples a nice glaze, but not too sweet. I'd actually leave the water out the glaze, since I found the pie gathered water after I took a slice.

Fresh Apple Cake I

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2008
I was surprised I liked this cake so much, and that it came out as well as it did. A note: the cake batter is very thick and it almost comes out like brownie batter. When the cake bakes it's more like a coffee cake. It's very good though. Hope the info helped.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2008
This was a very good recipe. Like it says, soft chewy center and crispy edges. I substituted a 1/2 c. flour for ground flax, and I left the batter in the refridgerator for 36 hours (approx). Refridgerating the batter lets all the flavors join together, kind of like marinating meat. I read it in an article about cookie techniques. I'm keeping this one for my recipe.

Auntie's Buttermilk Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2008
I loved this cake for the fact that it was delicate, moist, and not too sweet. I only sifted the flour twice, and I used all purpose. I added a lemon/confection sugar icing to it which gave it a nice touch. I'll keep this in my repertoire. And it was pretty easy, though I used alot of bowls
