Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

This is the first stuffing that I've made using cranberries or apples and it was pretty good. I might make it again.

Easy Mushroom Rice

This was okay - the flavor was a little different from what I'm used to, but I still think I prefer Knorr, Uncle Ben's, and Rice-A-Roni rice mixes.

Garlic-Herb Roast Pork

I was not a fan of this recipe. My husband said it was good, but I'm not sure if he was just saying that to spare my feelings. I just thought it the flavor was too overpowering and it was a little too salty. Maybe I put the paste on a little too thick?

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

I brushed the chicken with a butter and salt mixture, then sprinkled with paprika before layering the ham and Swiss cheese. After rolling and securing with toothpicks, I brushed each piece with egg and rolled them in seasoned bread crumbs. Instead of frying in a pan, I baked the chicken in a 350 degree oven for 40 minutes and made the sauce separately on the stove top. It turned out great!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

This soup is excellent! The only thing I will do differently next time is double it and add a few more potatoes. YUM!

Shrimp Linguine Alfredo

This is a good recipe, but there isn't enough sauce and my family prefers a few more shrimp. I ended up using half of the noodles for another dish because the sauce ran out. I also added a couple of fresh broccoli crowns to the onion and garlic mixture, and I added the Parmesan cheese directly to the sauce to give it more of an alfredo flavor - otherwise it's just a milk sauce with some garlic and onions. The next time I make this I will double the onions, half-and-half, and Parmesan cheese. I thought there was enough garlic flavor, so I will probably keep this the same. I will also reduce the pepper to 1 tsp. and add it directly to the sauce. With these changes, I think it deserves 5 stars!

Tuna Noodle Casserole from Scratch

Some of the other reviews said that there wasn't enough sauce in this recipe, so I increased the amount of sauce in step 4 by 50%. I used 6 tbsp butter, 1/4 + 2 tbsp flour, and 3 cups milk. I used a 9 x 13 pan and found that there weren't enough bread crumbs, so I doubled them. Also, once I had everything mixed together it did seem a little bland. I doctored it up by adding 1 tbsp. parsley, 1 tsp. celery salt, and a little more salt and pepper than what I had originally put in. As is, I only gave the recipe 4 stars, but after making these changes I think it deserves 10! It was excellent and I will be making it again!
