Albondigas Soup III

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2009
Simple and tasty. I had all of the ingredients here at home. Didn't have to shop for them :) that's always a plus for me. I followed the others' suggestions and added: carrots, squash, tomatoes and a bit of chicken consume to the broth. I didn't have onions or I would have added that too. So far, it is a wonderful comfort food to have this cool evening. Thank you.

Gourmet Chicken Sandwich

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2010
I write reviews to remind me what my family said about the food I cook. My brother, who was over at the time, said it tasted like a Jack in the box chicken sandwich, but better. Hubby, who doesn't like mayo too much, said it was good. I would make this again.

Garlic Butter Shrimp

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2010
Delicious and fast. I used pre cooked shrimp and sauteed them in a closed pan. They came out juicy. It was a very fast dinner. I paired it with pre-cooked white rice. Dinner was ready in about 10 minutes!

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2010
Hubby liked these. They were easy to make and I had all of thee ingredients on hand, except for vinegar. But he doesn't like vinegar, so it worked out. I would like to make these again. I put them on a grill in the oven, set at 375 degrees for about 15 -20 minutes. I also made sure to turn them every 5 minutes or so.

Chicken With Mushrooms

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2010
Very juicy :) I used kellogg's crumbs and added lemon pepper, garlic salt and basil. Use vegetable broth. I didn't have any mozzarella cheese. I did use pre sliced mushrooms. I would make this often.

Polvorones de Canele (Cinnamon Cookies)

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2010
I made these tonight. But before I started, I read the reviews. I added more cinnamon and sugar once they were almost cooled. My husband gobbled them up. He LOVED them! Saving them for another time. THey are super easy to make. They yield a lot of cookies tool But they go fast, since they are so small :)

Funnel Cakes IV

I didn't have a funnel, so I used a juice pitcher and a spoon. Made the consistency more "watery". Delicious!

Sauteed Apples

Very easy to make on a Saturday morning. Hubby loved them, and even said they tasted "professional" LOL I put them next to some pancake stacks and topped them off with whipped cream.

Easy to make. I baked them for about 8 minutes at 375 and they came out semi crispy, but still yummy. I also added some chocolate chips. YUM!

Take a while to make, if you're in a hurry (work full time + wifey). If not, it's worth the wait. Very delicious! I would make this again and again!

Melt In Your Mouth Chicken Pie

I write reviews to remember what my family said. Hubby, who is a picky eater, said it was ok. Just told me to not put vegetables in it, which I thought would add a better flavor.
