Cordon Bleu Casserole

Made this with chicken and the Ritz crackers in the topping since that is what I had on hand. My husband liked it okay but wasn't overly impressed. I enjoyed it. I would probably make it again but I may play with it to see if there are any changes I want to make to make it better for our tastes.

Not Your Every Day Smoked Pork Spare Ribs

The biggest complaint my husband and I had was that we ended up with way too much rub on the ribs--so next time I am going to use the rub a lot more sparingly. But the flavor of the rub and the method of cooking the ribs was amazing. I will definitely do it again.

Garlic Top Sirloin Pot Roast

This was a wonderful dinner. I did as another reviewer suggested and added brown gravy mix (low sodium in my case) instead of the beef bouillon and the sauce was wonderful. I also put the spices and the garlic in the meat 24 hours in advance and let it "marinate." My husband commented that the peppers that I added at the end as the recipe calls for were really great. Overall I am sure I will make this again.

Caper Baked Chicken

Wonderful recipe. I was a little hesitant because my husband is not a huge caper fan, but he loved it. As suggested by others I used less steak sauce because all I could easily find was A1--but to make sure there was enough liquid I substituted some chicken broth for the steak sauce I took out. It worked out well. I also put the chicken on a bed of sliced onions since my husband is a huge fan of onions and they were delicious too. Definitely will make again.

Flat Iron Steak with Three Pepper Rub
