About this Cook
I am a happily married mommy of two beautiful kids and one big old dog =D I love, love, love to cook! I get it from my dad. He loves to cook too and make things from scratch so I grew up watching him cook pasta sauce that took all day or real homemade noodle soup with the turkey from Thanksgiving and homemade noodles. I love, love, love the beach and being outdoors. I'm pretty spontanous and love to try new things (I bore easily!)!
My favorite things to cook
Hmmm...anything I can cook with my kids. I stay at home and my kids are 3 & 4 so I like cooking anything I can have them help me with. The 3 of us have a ball in the kitchen and they love helping! My favorite meal to cook would be dinner, I love doing desserts and trying new recipes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My hubby & I and our kids make Christmas cookies every year. We make dozens and dozens of about 15 different kinds. We have some standard favorites and we choose some new ones too.

Shrimp Francesca
Super delish!!!!!! AND Super easy!!!!! My family hammered this dish and my daughter & I are not big shrimp fans. I love seafood and shrimp are good but they are at the bottom of my seafood list. However...this dish it at the top!!! I tweaked the recipe a little. I used more shrimp then called for.. about 1 1/2 lbs but a little less breadcrumbs..about 1/4 cup and more Romano cheese...a bit less then 1/2 cup. I also used Marinated artichoke hearts (I love these and will eat them right out of the jar!) We served this with whole wheat thin spaghetti and salad. Next time I will add some asparagus to it! DELISH!!!! Thank you!! :)

Nana Dot's Irish Soda Bread
Yummm..Meeeee!!! I made this for St Patty's day and it was devored by my entire family!!! I left out the raisens and currents b/c my daughter would not have eaten it otherwise. However next time I will make a double batch and put the currants in half and nothing in the other! Super easy!! :)

Delish!!!!!!I used red potatoes and just left the skin on. I sauted red cabbage and green onions in some butter with some salt and pepper. Mixed some bacon in..more then 4 slices b/c bacon makes everything better!! Delish!!!!!! :)
