I got so many compliments on this! It turned out really moist and flavor-filled. Some at work ate it with cream cheese, which was also delicious.

Mom's Peas and Noodles

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2011
This was fast, easy, and good. The trifecta. I could definitely see adding some chicken though, to give just a little more flavor. Also, I added in some extra frozen veggies I had.

Margarita Shrimp Salad

It was OK. Not a lot of flavor, and just kind of boring.

Marshall Islands Macadamia Nut Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2011
This was ok. The topping needs some more flavor, and my crust burned a little. Everyone else loved it though. I also substituted different nuts, using what I had on hand.

These are delicious. The vanilla pudding mix makes it extra sweet without adding more sugar. So good!

Asian Mushroom Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2011
It was good but didn't stay very well in the fridge after a couple days it felt...slimy? Immediately after I made it, though, it was delicious. Maybe I need to freeze next time.

Tex-Mex Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
This is a belated review, so bear with me. I really liked this soup, it was easy to throw all my extra turkey in and have a different taste (ie, no turkey sandwiches). It was pretty spicy though. If you are sensitive to that, it might be a good idea to substitute some of the flavors, or turn it down. Either way, its a great recipe to try, especially with all that leftover thanksgiving turkey.

Spinach and Leek White Bean Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
This was reallly good, and I felt so healthy eating it. I ended up using more chicken broth because mine looked really thick, but that was an easy fix. Also, I added a little more spice to mine with chilli powder. So easy to add whatever spices you like. I will definitely be making this again.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies IV

I got so many compliments on these! Super easy. I substituted walnuts and pecans because my grocery store was out of macadamia nuts, but it was delicious and soft, all the same.

Pretty easy, pretty good. It gets better, I'm sure, when you add spices depending on your own tastes. I will definitely try it again with a few tweaks.

Great! Looks a little daunting, but it was fun to make and I added some other vegetables I had laying around. I think I might try it with teriyaki sauce too some time.

Super easy, especially when it comes to substituting. I used different cheese and only had asparagus, bell peppers and onions on hand, but it was delicious! It's a great way to clean out the vegetable drawer....

Vegetarian Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: May 20, 2010
This was great! It was a little watery for me so I pureed it right before it came time to serve. Also, I couldn't find that onion/pepper stir fry mix so I just sauteed chopped onions and bell peppers, and it was still great. I loved it and can't wait to try it again with a few different ingredients.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

So so easy and delicious. It's nice and moist. Don't get discouraged when you add the water, it does look weird but it will turn out ok. I used the Texas chocolate frosting with this and it was fantastic. Soooo decadent.
