Fruit Pizza II

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
What a great recipe! Once you cut up all the fruit, it's fun to arrange it in your own creative way. Followed others' tips and added vanilla plus powdered sugar to the cream cheese/whipped topping mixture. It did come out a bit lumpy, even after mixing it on high for a few minutes. A great office treat!

Ham, Potato, and Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2009
This was very easy to make and delicious! I made a few tweaks though - I substituted onion salt for the onions, and added 1 can of creamed corn at the very end.

BUSH'S® White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2009
Really easy and tasty meal! Next time I may add extra peppers, or maybe some diced canned jalapenos for some extra kick.

Mom's Great Green Beans

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2009
These were decent...but very salty and didn't really keep any of the good green bean flavor. I think I'll stick to steamed fresh green beans with a dash of salt!

Artichoke and Shrimp Linguine

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2009
This was very good & easy to make. Next time I might cut back on the pepper flakes though because it was a bit spicy. Also, I only used 1 clove of garlic and it was plenty.

Oven Omelet

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2009
This was very simple to make and was a hit with my husband! Next time I might add some onion to give it a kick as the flavors were a bit bland.

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2009
This was really good and easy! I left the skins on the potatoes for extra vitamins. I didn't have any cream, so I used fat free evaporated milk, and then added a little more flour to thicken it. I used extra lean turkey bacon too, so browned the onion and garlic in cooking spray. Delicious - I will definitely make this again!

BBQ Chicken Pizza I

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2009
This was such a great recipe. I used a whole wheat Boboli crust and onion salt instead of real onions (husband doesn't like them). We both loved this pizza recipe and have made it a number of times!

Parmesan Artichoke Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2009
This is great a as a dip! I made it over the holidays and served it with sea salted pita chips. It was a hit! After reading other reviews, I did cut down on the mayo (and actually used fat free mayo), and added Neufatel cheese (similar to cream cheese). I don't think I'd serve this as a side dish though because it's quite rich.

Great recipe! Simple and quick with great flavor. Since my husband doesn't like onions, I used onion salt and it came out just fine.

Best Toffee Ever - Super Easy

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
This is so delicious! I made it for Christmas and gave it to relatives. A candy thermometer is key - I burned my 1st batch by trying to eyeball it. Also, I used chopped pecans. Easy and yummy!

Quick Quiche

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
I've made this a handful of times in the past few months and love it! I've made a few healthy tweaks along the way too. I use extra lean turkey bacon, 3 eggs and 2 egg whites, low fat/fat free cheese, and skim milk. It turns out great every time and tastes even better!

Creamy Artichoke Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2008
I made a few revisions, after reading other reviews, and this pasta dish came out great! I cut back on the sour cream, increased the parmesan, added some fresh roma tomatoes to the onion and artichoke mixture, and used penne pasta instead of spaghetti. It was delicious and also made for great leftovers.
