I love cooking up food that stirs the emotions. There's nothing better than getting a group of people together over good food and laughing the night away! It's the best! I love cooking soups, healthy dishes that pack amazing flavor, italian dishes, mexican dishes, (I'm also looking into French recipes), and every once in a while I'll get the urge to do some baking. My favorite family cooking traditions include cooking Thanksgiving dinner with my mom while watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I also love getting together with her to bake up Christmas goodies that we share with everyone we know. I've created an amazing onion soup that leaves parents and parents-in-law asking for more! I tried making cheese cake...they nicknamed it curdled milk cake...granted, I had the toughest audience possible - New Yorkers! I'm also known for banana nut bricks and cream of mortar (made within 24 hours of each other no less! and no...not on purpose!). Hence, "occasional" baking.
