Turkey Pot Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2012
This is one amazing recipe! I made it to the "T" the first time. The second time I made it, I followed almost everything. I didn't have onions, so I used a leek instead, fresh parsley, and garlic. It was just as delicious! This is my go to recipe for chicken pot pie too!

Best Beef and Broccoli

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2010
easy and delicious! I make this every week, my 18 month old loves this. To add a little heat I add about 1 teaspoon of crushed red peppers, but it is good as is.

Hawaii Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
This is a great recipe! I have made it several times and my family loves itl. I made it exactly the first time, it was 4 stars good. I added fresh grated ginger root and some crushed red pepper flakes to the sauce. I also added cayenne pepper to the flour mix, we like it with a kick. These changes make it a 5 star recipe for my taste buds.

Real Homemade Tamales

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
this is a great recipe i made my first batch following the recipe to the T. My second batch I made using my mom's tips. I quadrudpled the recipe, subbing one cup of Maseca with flour. I didn't use lard I used oil and added about half a cup of the chili sauce to the masa. This makes the masa super fluffy and extra tasty. I make my tamales the traditional mexican way. I spread the masa then fold in one side bring up the middle and finishing rolling (imagine the husk as a triangle with the point being the "middle" part). It saves time from having to cut strips to tie the tamales.

Finger Sandwich Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
If I could give it more stars, I would! These cookies are absolutely delicious. Not super sweet. I didn't sandwich them. I made some with raspberry jelly in the center, others dipped in chocolate and some with only sprinkles! You have got to try this!

Mrs. Ronzo's Lemon Balls

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2009
This cookie is amazing! It has just the right amount of sweetness. I did go a little heavy on the lemon extract after reading some reviews. To make it even lower in calories I used egg substitute, 1% milk and cut the glaze in half. With these changes, it is only 72 calories per cookie. I didn't use shortening either I used unsalted butter (had to be a little bad)

Chicken Parmigiana

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2009
I don't like chicken parmigiana most people make. I am not a frying kind of person. I made this recipe almost as is (my hubby and I love garlic), I added some spices and herbs that I like. I actually like this recipe. It's the first time I ate Parmigiana that didn't have a fishy taste. Thanks Candy. I now have a new recipe for my biweekly rotation.

Quick and Easy Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2009
I made the recipe exactly as it was written. I was amazed at how simple it was to make. I really wanted a chewy brownie and I didn't get it in this recipe, but I absolutely loved these. My hubby and I cannot stop eating them. If I want a cake like brownie this will definately be my first choice! Thanks for a delicious recipe.

My hubby is polish and I am mexican. I have been trying to make him polish food for a while. When I told him I had found this recipe he went out and bought sauerkraut, ready to make it the same day. I made it for dinner last night. He kept raving how good it was. I was surprised, it was absolutely delioucious. I made it to the T, perfect the way it is!
