I wish I would've followed this recipe instead of reviews. I don't see where the broth should have been cut. In fact, next time I might even use alittle more. Thanks for sharing!

Crazy Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2009
I can't stop making this cake! When I first try a recipe, I follow it as directed. After that, if its worth keeping, I play around with it a bit. The last 2 times I made this, I added 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips and also a box of chocolate or devils food pudding and 1/3 c. extra water. I have layered this and used raspberry/cream cheese filling. And also Whipped cream cream cheese frosting on this site. Wonderful. My mother also has an egg allergy, so this is perfect! I have no reason to make any other chocolate cake! Thanks for sharing your recipe!

Chicken Sopa

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
Holy Cow! This was fabulous! Sure I tweeked it a tad to our liking...thats what we do as we cook for our families. The only thing I changed was I used Nacho cheese soup instead of the cream of mushroom. But then I added chopped green pepper, onion, fresh cilantro, chili powder, black pepper, season salt, and garlic to the chicken mixture. Also, drizzled enchilada sauce on top before baking! Served with guacamole, sour cream & chives, and salsa! Thanks for the awesome recipe! We'll have this atleast every other week!

Chicken Fried Chicken

Pretty good, I would have to say! I used boneless breast cut in half. My oldest son thought I had made jumbo chicken nuggets, which I guess that was about what they were. I gave him the bottle of BBQ sauce and he was in heaven. Thanks for the recipe!

Black Bean and Corn Quesadillas

Pretty good alternative for our usual quesadillas. I did add chicken, garlic, jalapenos, and some chili powder to kick it up alittle. Thanks for the recipe! We will definitely keep using it.

Bombay Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2009
I have a very similar recipe that I've been making quite some time. I figured everyone would love this too...I was wrong. The dried fruit mix I bought for this dish ruined it. It was a 10 oz. expensive box of dried kiwi, strawberries, mango, pineapple, and canteloupe. It took this dish from fab to disaster. I came so close to putting fresh fruit in. I will definitely make again. Next time I will leave out the fruit, and set out small bowls of fresh pineapple, raisins, apple, banana, sunflower seeds, coconut, and maybe chutney. That way everyone can dish it out themselves how the want it. Great recipe though! Just my stupidity on thinking expensive dried fruit might be better.
