I followed the suggestions of other viewers by decreasing the brown sugar to 1/2 cup, soaking the raisins, increasing the cinnamon to 1 tsp, and mixing the dough by hand. The recipe doesn't specify which kind of rolled oats to use. So I used the Quaker 100% whole wheat old fashioned rolled oats. The cookies were wayyy to oaty. My boyfriend said they were "decent" and tasted like eating a granola bar, and he was being nice. They were dry and crunchy and difficult to eat. I dont think I will be making these again.
