The Best Unbaked Cherry Cheesecake Ever

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2012
Very good! I don't think it is too sweet if you actually whip your cream yourself... If you use store bought cook whip, that is already sweetened, so that may be why. It turned out very good, and was very easy! I did shortcut and use a storebought crust. Everything else, to the T. Thanks!

Caramel Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2011
These were great and easy! for the batter I used only 1/2 cup (1 stick) of butter and made up for the moisture with more evap. milk just so it wasnt too dry. Baking times were very accurate for me, and turned out chewy and moist and very good! Need milk to drink with these, for sure!

Deer Chop Hurry

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2011
This was really good! I followed recipe almost exactly, just substituting the onion for a chopped clove of garlic ( we dont like onions that much), and decided to stick it in a crock pit low for 5-6 horus. The meat was extremely tender and delicious! The only thing is the sauce was a little too sweet for my taste. So I would probably do more like 1/4-1/3 of a cup of brown sugar next time. I didn;t brown meat first, so this recipe literally took less than 5 minutes to prepare. Very good over a bed of rice!Actually would be good shredded and on a toasted bun. Thanks, can never have enough venison recipes with hunter hubbys :-)

Sweet Honey French Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2011
This was really good! I would up the amount of honey in the bread, probably will do more like 1-2 tablespoons. I made this recipes exactly how directed and it was great & not really all that sweet, SO i think more honey will just add to the flavor! I used my bread machine to kneaad it, I braided the dough and baked it @ 375 degrees for about 20 minutes. I drizzled honey on top halfway through but probably wouldnt agian..I like the flavor but it made it kind of sticky! A slice with butter and some honey on it is AMAZING!

Baked Potato Soup I

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2011
I give it 4 stars as is. But 5 stars with a few slight changes! Definitely less of the roux...I sued 1/2 cup of margarine and flour and would still cut back on that next time. Just a little thick for our preference! ALso I would use a couple more potatoes. It needs more salt & pepper than it calls for and I added garlic salt, onion salt, and basil. IT was a bit bland as written. But after those slight changes it was so good!
