Triple Berry Crisp

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2012
I used ONLY blackberries b/c that's what I had, but I felt it needed way more than the amount suggested. I liked it though, but I know blueberries and rasberries cook down a bit, too, so I imagine I'd put in at least a couple more cups.

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Reviewed: May 18, 2012
Awesome recipe, although I don't use the vanilla. I found it was troublesome the last time I tried it, but I love the taste of this one. I microwave it or do in on the cookstove and love it. ;)

Fudge

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2011
This was a great recipe that had my picky extended family members asking for the recipe. One of them was mad that it was a microwave recipe! I remember it tasting really good and that the texture was great. Easy and fast!

Wow, great recipe! I didn't have the beer or smoke flavoring on hand but I tried everything else and it still was great!

Pie Crust Mix

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2009
The taste was amazing, but it was so hard for me to work with it, I thought 4 stars would be my judging. I wonder if the lard should have been cold so maybe that was my problem?

Waffles I

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2009
I tried this recipe twice. The first time was great! I used half whole wheat flour. The second time I didn't have enough baking powder so I tried half soda and it flopped big time! Just a note for people--DON'T use baking soda!!

Split Pea Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2009
I like the recipe, but I prefer to cook the ham bone first. Then, after soaking the peas, I add some of the meat in the pot, reserving some for later for added flavor. I also saute the veggies before adding into pot, ensuring they're not crunchy or so my peas don't get too mushy for me.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2009
I love this recipe for dense bread! I use 4.5 or 5 bananas if they're not too big. I add about a teaspoon of cinnamon and then just a dash of nutmeg (maybe cloves too?) depending on how I feel.
