About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I prefer baking than cooking, but being married doesn't allow just cookies and cakes all of the time. I like (trying) to decorate cakes. I also like easy casseroles and quick dinners like baked chicken. (chicken parmesan is my favorite!)
My favorite family cooking traditions
I enjoy family get-togethers that have tons of food.
My cooking triumphs
I've finally got some recipes under my belt! (I can make them without looking at a recipe!) I've been married for almost five years now, so I'm trying to get out of the same 'ol, same 'ol routine.
My cooking tragedies
:( salty mashed potatoes that happened a LONG time ago, (when I was twelve!) but no one will ever let me forget!

Quick Alfredo Sauce
L-O-V-E-D IT! i will definitely make this again and again! My family loved it! Very creamy and so easy! The best alfredo sauce i've ever made! I didn't have any garlic, so i omitted that, and i used garlic powder instead of garlic salt and it turned out great!

Homemade Root Beer
Definitely use Rootbeer CONCENTRATE, not just extract. We used just rootbeer extract, and it didn't have the nice dark color, or a good taste. Roobeer CONCENTRATE saved the day!

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread I
My mom had always added chocolate chips to banana bread. I've found that using older bananas works just as well, and it's a great way to get rid of the bananas no one wants anymore without having to throw them away!
