Orzo with Parmesan and Basil

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2014
I really liked this recipe. I didn't have fresh basil on hand, so I used pesto. So good! Thank you.

Blueberry Pumpkin Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2013
I love this recipe. My kids devour these. I doubled the recipe and that gave me a full dozen of big muffins plus a mini-loaf. There is a way to cut out some of the butter. You can use unsweetened applesauce in place of the butter. Use half the butter and then make up the other half with applesauce. I would also say DON'T substitute butter. It's so much better for you than margarine.

Brooklyn Girl's Penne Arrabiata

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2013
This was so good! I added a bit more chicken than the recipe calls for so it's higher in protein. I also added shallots because I had them on hand. This dish was phenomenal. My kids said this recipe was a keeper! This made a lot with the extra chicken. We've got enough for dinner tomorrow. Yummy!!

Busy Day Ham Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2012
Personally I thought this was fabulous! Now I didn't make it exactly like yours but I'll tell you why.... the grocery store was against me. I didn't find cheese soup so I used cream of onion. I didn't use regular mayo because what was in my fridge was the olive oil mayo with cracked black pepper. I added cheese since I couldn't get cheese soup. The only that I'd say I truly modified was I skipped the crumbs on the top. Just personal preference. Anyway, it was THE BOMB! Oh my goodness, was this ever easy and sooo super yummy. I did find it a bit thick, but I think it was rice I used. So I added a splash of milk to thin it out just a tad. My boys loved it, even my youngest son actually ate his broccoli and he told me this recipe was a keeper. Thanks for such a great recipe!!

ViVi's Bacon and Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2010
I absolutely loved this recipe! This was so yummy and will be made often in my house. I don't like bouillon cubes, personally, so I used beef broth instead of cubes and water. I also think I would've liked the bacon crispier than what I had, but I think that was completely operator error. Very good soup - thank you for sharing it.

Egg and Cheese Puffs

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2009
These puffs were wonderful! I didn't like that we had trouble getting them unwrapped from the muffin papers, but I brought it to work and everyone loved them!! I used pre-cooked bacon which made prep work go that much faster.

Slow Cooker Dump and Go Cheesy Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2008
This recipe was awesome! My whole family loved it!! I used partially frozen chicken breasts since I have to leave so early in the morning - so I let my crock pot defrost and then cook the chicken and it was delicious!!
