Clark's Quiche

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2009
This Quiche is amaaaazing! I made it for a brunch with friends and everybody loved it! It's easy and quick to make. I actually made two different ones - one with meat and one without for the vegetarians. Both turned out incredible and the effort for making two different quiches is tiny! Thanks for sharing this remarkable recipe, it's a keeper!

Zucchini Herb Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2009
This recipe is really good and healthy, but I'm glad I read the reviews before making it. I followed other reviewer's advices and at least trippled the amount of spices. I also added a chicken cube while cooking the rice. Next time I'll use at least 1 cup of rice for the recipe. I also added about a cup of green bell peppers, which was great. Next time I will add some ground turkey or beef to give it additional flavor. Otherwise great recipe and super easy to make! Thanks for sharing!

Lentils and Rice with Fried Onions (Mujadarrah)

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2009
It is a great recipe, but I'm giving it 4 stars because it needs more tweeking in my opinion. I used two onions that I fried really long and will definitely make it with 3 or 4 the next time. I also used more of the spices such as Turmeric powder and more Paprika. For the rice I'll use at least 4 chicken cubes the next time to give it more flavor. Serving this dish with Yoghurt and a side of cucumber salad is perfect! Will definitely make it again! Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Cobb Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2009
This salad is fantastic, easy to make and very satisfying and filling! I found that the amount given was perfect for two people. One egg for each person is good. I used turkey bacon instead and it was a hit! Will definitely make again! Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Baingan Bharta (Eggplant Curry)

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2009
This recipe changes its flavor over the days and turns from decent to great! I added half a pound of ground Turkey and used Turmeric Powder instead of Garam Masala. When I cooked it me and my roommates gave it 4 stars, because the spices had not gone through the eggplant and it didn't taste that exciting. Than I had leftovers after 2 days and it was amazing! All the spices and flavors hat blended together and it was fantastic! Knowing this I will definitely make it again, since it's a dish that you can easily prepare ahead and by the time you eat it, it's a delight! Also, I found that the turkey gave it a rounder taste.

Yummy Lemon Salmon Burgers

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2009
This recipe is so good and easy to make! It was a hit right away even though I forgot the lemon juice and only had one egg to make it with! Will definitely make this one again, especially on busy evenings when I still want a delicious dinner. Thanks for sharing this great recipe!

Sweet Restaurant Slaw

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
It was my first time making Cole Slaw and this recipe turned out amazing! So easy to make! It turned even better the longer I let it stand. I brought it to a potluck and people loved it! One of my friends said he was amazed - the best cole slaw he ever ate in the South comes from a German! I made some minor changes for the sauce. I used 2 1/2 tbsp vinegar, 1 1/2 cups mayonaise and halfed the sugar. After mixing everything I decided to give another half a bag of slaw to it and it turned out great! Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Butter Lamb Gravy

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2009
This recipe is amazing! I've made it twice so far - first time with pork, second time with chicken - and loved it! Next time I make it with pork, I'll reduce the cooking time, since the pork turned out a little dry - but the sauce made up for it, no worries. The chicken turned out perfect - I can't wait to make it with lamb! I also doubled the amount of tomato paste. Instead of water and creme fresh I only used one glass of 1% fat milk. The taste is just as great! I also used more of the spices for taste and added about one teaspoon coriander powder. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe, it's a keeper!

Chicken Stew With Coconut Milk

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2009
This was good, but it didn't taste very coconuty even though I used an entire can of coconut milk. Next time I will cut back on cumin since this one stood out too much and omit the lima beans. I followed the advice of another reviewer and cooked it on the stove top instead of microwaving it.

Slow Cooker London Broil

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2009
At first I liked it, but after a couple of bites the sauce tasted too ready made to me. My boyfriend liked it though.

Way easy and way awesome. I'll never have to get take out Chinese when I make this in the same time it takes to order and pick it up. The sauce can be used over almost anything. We love it.

Grilled Teriyaki Tuna

I liked it, but the teriyaki taste didn't turn out too noticeably. Next time I'll marinate the fish longer. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Best Tuna Melt (New Jersey Diner Style)

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2009
The first time I made this recipe I followed the directions exactly and found it good, but not outstanding. The second time I made it I used 1 tablespoon of white wine because I didn't have vinegar. Instead of using fresh tomatoes I spread 1 1/2 teaspoons of tomato paste on each bread and then put the tuna mixture on top as described. This added a nice additional flavor to it that made the taste rounder and more interesting to me. I also like Munster Cheese better on it. Thanks for sharing this great recipe!

Smokin' Scovilles Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2009
This was really tasty and very easy to make. My boyfriend liked it, but said it was missing something though, and for me it was really good, but not outstanding chili. If I could I would give it 4.5 stars! I will make it again though, but next time with only 0.5 oz of cocoa mix. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Salmon and Pesto with Rice

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2009
This recipe is very delicious and also a great way to use up left-over rice - the stock and wine make it perfectly moisty again. I used a can of pink salmon instead of fresh salmon and it was just as delicious! My boyfriend couldn't hold back eating some of the salmon-pesto mix even before the rice was ready! Because I didn't have any fish stock I used chicken broth instead which turned out very tasty. I will definitely make this one again! Thanks for sharing this recipe!
