Chocolate Caramel Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2011
My family loves them. I did add instant coffee to make it a more rich flavor. Definately great for people who don't like too sweet cookies. More for adults if you take out the caramel.

Raspberry Linzer Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2010
taste is good but I mixed the egg whites in the batter and just put one egg at a time slowly while mixing. I also used blended chopped pecan and threw them in the batter last minute. It tasted great and just did the powered sugar on top. I used less sugar too..

Will use this recipe again definitely. Hubby loved it. We like bland so this was tasty for us. But it could use some umph (sorry didn;t know how to spell it) But yes I would read rest of the reviews and add garlic powder next time perhaps. Thank you

Luscious Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2009
It was a little too sweet for me so next time I will cut down on the sugar. DEFINATELY DOUBLE YOUR RECIPE!! I would even say triple it! It really needs it. Go easy on the powered sugar on top as well. I think that made it too sweet. I also would add an additional TBSP toatl of 5 Tbsp if the recipe was doubled. Also added lemon rind. Other than that super easy, and looks very gourmet. Definately will be making this again.

Banana Loaf

very soft, and delicious! I did do the half brown sugar and half white. Also added some cinnamon and vanilla. I did have a hard time with the outside almost burning but the inside not being ready.. Not sure what rack to put it on in the oven. But taste was good.

Pear Pie III

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
My first time making this pie and boy did my husband love it. Though it was done in about 45~50 minutes 350* and I made the graham cracker crust but I didn't have enough graham crackers so mixed it with ginger snap cookies and also added sliced almonds, add melted butter and some sugar. Oh, I also used light brown sugar not white. For finish used powdered sugar. Very light, not sour but yet not too sweet. Very elegant taste. If you like really sweet, add vanilla ice cream on top or whip cream would be great also.

mine came out good but it was pretty dense on the inside. The taste wasn't bad. Bland but edible.I would try this recipe again. I tried the ice cubes, but still not as crispy as i would like.
