About this Cook
I am 29 years old, happily married, and expecting my first child in early spring. I have 2 cats, Foxy and Timmy. I love spending time outdoors and hanging out with my friends. I love to travel, camp, and try new things. A lot of women in my family are great cooks so I strive to be as good as they are.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite thing is baking. I love making desserts and love sharing them with people. I also love to make snacks and dips, and I love having people over to share them with.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I loved Christmas time as a child because my mother would always make tons of cookies and candies to give to people. I now carry on the tradition and have added my own creations to hers to share with the people I care about. Nothing beats homemade treats!!
My cooking triumphs
My homemade sugar cookies!! People I work with as well as my husbands office are constantly asking for them. This is a recipie that my mother uses as well and people can't get enough of them. I love to make them for different occasions and am constantly finding new cookie cutters and ways to decorate. Whenever I send these to work with my husband they are gone in under an hour!
My cooking tragedies
I started out as a not so good cook. I once made mac & cheese for some kids I was babysitting and they would not eat it. :(

Baked Salmon II
This was a great recipe! I am always looking for new ways to make salmon and this was delicious. I served over brown rice. The only thing I would do different is use less salt.

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style
Delicious!! I used store bought garlic(4tsp) and the whole pkg. cream cheese. I mixed all ingredients together rather than spreading them. Next time I am going to add water chestnuts. Restaurant quality for sure!!

Cheeseburger Soup II
This soup was delicious!! I seasoned the meat with garlic and seasoning salt and left the carrots out. I used 3 potatoes(chopped), instead of the hashbrowns. My husband said it tasted like something he would get at a nice restaurant.
