Crispy Fish Fillets

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2011
This is a great recipe and my five year old wanted 2nds and 3rds. I made it for lunch and she said this was the best lunch ever. I made a few changes: I used 2 tblsp of dry mustard instead of prepared mustard, I squeezed a quarter of a lime into the egg mixture. I added old bay seasoning and mrs dash. I also dipped in flour first as others suggested. I will make this again!

This is my new pork chop marinate sauce. I loooooved it. I did make a few changes. I didn't have lemon juice but I did have lime juice so I used it as a substitute. I also used a splash of apple cider vinegar. I made this at my sister's house and my neice and nephew wanted seconds. This will be used as my go to recipe for years to come. Thank you for sharing!!

Pesto Chicken Florentine

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2010
I absolutley love this recipe. I did make a few changes as others have suggested. I used an entire 10oz bag of spinach, I used 4 tblsps of tomatoe pesto and mixed with the alfredo sauce (both jars are classico brand). I also sauteed some onions and mushrooms. Not a big fan of cheese so I didnt add any but it still turned out better than I expected. Thanks for the recipe. This one is definitely a keeper.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Milkshake

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2011
This recipe is AWESSOME! I made a few changes: I made this for 2 people and used 1/4 cup peanut butter, 8 icecubes, 1/2 cup milk, and 1/2 cup chocolate syrup. I also added 1/2 cup of whip cream. It was a nice balance and the peanut butter was not overpowering. I scaled back on the peanut butter after reading other reviews. This is a nice end to a very long day. I will definitely make this again!

Chicken Wings Pacifica

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2011
I made this recipe today and it was fantastic. I did alter the recipe a little bit because I ended up making them like my friend from thailand makes hers. I add all the ingredients and 4 more tablespoons of dry mustard, 1/2 lime juice, and 1/2 cup ketchup. I did marinated it for 2 hours then put the pan in the oven for 45 minutes. Turned out great!! Thanks Shang!!

Homemade Vanilla Pudding

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2011
Thank you Rosemary for this recipe. I made this tonight for the first time and I am very pleased with the results. The only addition I did was added and extra teaspoon of vanilla to kick-up the vanilla flavor. It was excellent. Will definitely make again.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2011
These cookies were Yummy! I didnt have baking soda so I substituted baking powder. I also made vanilla pudding from this site ( instead of using the box). I added the pudding instead of the pudding mix. I used nestle semisweet chocalte chunks. My husband said these are the best cookies I have ever made. (Not to sweet but just right). He told me that they tasted professional. I wonder how they would taste with applesauce added to the cookie dough. I will definitely make these again.

Grandmother's Pound Cake II

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2011
This cake is YUMMY! I did add 2 tsp of vanilla extract as others have suggested. Each oven is different because my cake cooked in 45 minutes on 350. This is my second time making a pound cake from this site and this one is by far my favorite. I only modified the number of eggs because I used 5 instead of 6. I dont like eggy cakes. That is the only change I made. This cake is not overly sweet and I am thinking about putting a glaze on it but it is not necessary. So glad to have this recipe. Next time, I will make this recipe for cupcakes or even a sheet cake. This is my new go-to cake recipes. Very delish!

World's Best Key Lime Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2014
I made this recipe for father's day. I scaled the lime juice 1/4 cup because I didn't want it too tart and I read other reviews. I used a graham cracker crust. I must say this is the best I have ever eaten. I feel empowered that I can make any dessert. I can't say enough about this key lime pie. It is sooooo good!!!!. Thank you for the recipe. This one is a keeper.

Pasta Primavera with Italian Turkey Sausage

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2014
After reading other reviews, I made some changes. I used a can of tomato, basil, oregano sauce instead of tomatoes. I added a can of tomato soup, I added chicken broth instead of bouillon cube, I used corn and peas instead of zucchini and squash, I added 2tablespoons garlic powder instead of cloves of garlic, I added 2tablespoons parsley, 1/4 cup of milk because I wanted it very saucy. This turned out wonderful. I got seconds and thirds. I had to make myself stop eating it. My husband also loved it. He got seconds but kept coming back to the pot with his spoon and taking spoonfuls. I will definitely make this dish again. Any vegetable you like will work because the dish is so versatile. Ther was a tiny bit left over and I wanted to eat it for breakfast but when I got to the pot, it was empty.my husband got up and ate the rest of the pot in the middle of the night because I am the first one up in the mornings. This one will be made weekly. He has already requested that I make this again. Thank you kathyp100. This is a keeper!! Yummmmmmy!

One Egg Lemon Pound Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2014
Thank you to all the reviewers who added their comments Because They Were Helping. I tried the recipe as is but after tasting the batter I knew it needed more so I added another3/4 cup of sugar, 1/4 cup of lemon juice( I really love lemony cakes). With the changes the cake turned out wonderful. This is a good base cake but you definitely have to spruce it up. I gave it four stars because of the changes I had to make. I will definitely make this again.

Skillet Beef and Macaroni

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2012
I really enjoyed this. I am giving this four stars because I made some modifications.I didn't have tomato soup but I had tomato paste. . So I added the entire can of tomato paste and added 2 extra cups of water. I also didn't have any green peppers so I omitted it. I also added 3 packets of Goya seasoning. This definitely replaces my hamburger helper meals. I nice slice of cornbread would make this recipe even better. This food was very comforting and filling. I will be making this again!

Quick and Easy Apple Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2014
Because of other reviews saying it was bland. I substituted white sugar for brown sugar. I added 2 teaspoon vanilla extract, 2tablespoons of lemon juiceand increased the milk to 21/2 cups. (Didn't want the muffins dry). I loved them with the changes. I gave this a three star because I had to make so many changes. I alao put a little sugar on the apples as one reviewer suggested. Great idea! My husband and I devoured these muffins. He requested I make more today.

Whipping Cream Pound Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2011
I made this cake but I cut back on the eggs because other reviewers said that it was too eggy. I used four eggs and I am glad that I did. This cake was too dense for my taste but definitely a cake for molding. It taste good but I like a moist, soft cake. If you like cake that are extremely dense then this is the cake for you. I had to have a glass of milk to put it down. I wont make this again.
