Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2011
Just wanted to say that this is absolutely delicious!! I didn't have any bottled bbq sauce so I made my own. I did't have any bottled Italian dressing either, so I made the good seasons Italian dressing. I was a little worried about adding more brown sugar because my bbq sauce already had it in it and worcestershire sauce also, but I followed the recipe exactly and I also shredded the chicken and put it back in and let it cook for another hour or so and it was awesome! Thanks for a great recipe and I made Belles hamburger buns to put it on. Yum! I made macaroni salad and baked beans with this as sides. Very good!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2011
My husband could not stop raving about this dinner! As soon as he walked in the house after work he kept saying how delicious it smelled. I used Sweet Baby Rays honey barbecue sauce and I also added liquid smoke, chopped onion, cayenne pepper and garlic cloves as other readers did. I only used 3 chicken breasts and my sauce was not runny at all. In fact it was really thick. I do not know if it was the barbecue sauce but, it was fantastic! I used Belles hamburger bun recipe and this was a great hit. Will definitely continue using this all the time. Thank you for the great recipe!

Belle's Hamburger Buns

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2011
I made these last night for the first time and got great reviews. The only thing I might change is save the 1/2 cup of flour for kneading. I kneaded mine until the dough was elastic and smooth like my bread dough I make, which is about 4 mins or so. I thought the 10 mins. was a little long. They came out great and will use this recipe all the time. I used them for zesty slow cooker barbecue chicken and they were a hit! Thank you for a great recipe.

Easy Creamy Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2011
I made this for dinner last night and my family and I loved it! I did a few alterations, but they were quantity ones. I used one soup can size of chicken broth, 3 cups of water with added chicken bouilon cubes, 2, I used 2 cans of cream of chicken soup with a 16 oz container of sour cream.I had vegetable flavored ritz crackers and used 4 tbls of melted butter. By the way these crackers are good. I made rice and brocolli on the side and they spooned the chicken casserole over the rice. Very, very good!! My husband really enjoyed it and my daughter had 2 helpings. I loved it also. Thank you for a gret recipe!

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2011
Made this last night and it was sensational. I used the beef broth instead and used 2 packs of the salad dressing mix. I also shredded my chuck roast and put it back in the last 2 hours. I had to use a cab chuck roast, thats all my store had at the moment and it tasted and smelled fabulous! The sauce is outstanding and everyone put that on their rolls also. Thank you very much for a reicpe that I will be using again and again. Love the simplicity of the prep work also.

I just want to commend you on this recipe. Everybody LOVED it and my husband said that it was better than his favorite place for bruschetta! I did add the tbsp. of balsamic vinegar and I also added a lillle cut up onion. Other than that I followed this to the T and it was fabulous. Will always use this recipe. Thanks again!

Ham and Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2011
I finally made this recipe last night and it turned out great! I thought it had great flavor and was very filling. One thing I had to change was that I used extra sharp new yorker cheddar cheese. That is what I had on hand. Sprinkled more cheese on top and mixed my bread crumbs with melted butter. Did not cover mine, made exactly as recipe said, came out excellent. Thank you for this great recipe. Was a little worried because of no extra liquid, but did not have a problem.

Valentino's Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2011
This pizza crust helped me out in a tight situation. I had made my mother in laws pizza crust recipe and it was suppose to make two pizzas. Suprise it didn't. Used this recipe and wow! This was really good. Didn't add anthing because I use the pizza sauce I or II. The one that requres no cooking. And we had a lot of other toppings. Fantastic. I will use this recipe always. The only thing I did was grease my pans with olive oil and dust them with corn meal. Nice crispy crust. I do not have pizza stones I use cookie sheets with the sides on them. I make two to three pizzas at a time. Did not prebake it either. Wonderful recipe!!! Thank you!

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: May 17, 2011
This was delicious!! I had 10 half chicken breasts, lots of hungry people! The only thing I did was add Emerils chicken rub to the oil and garlic and did 2 garlic cloves. Had to use a little more oil obviously, and added a tbsp. of seasoned salt and a tsp. of Italian seasoning to the Italian bread crumb mixture. Which I put in a freezer bag and used like shake and bake. I sprinkled a little left over crumb mixture not all just enough to give it a little more crust. This got terrific reviews from everybody and there was only one little piece left over that my husband hid in the fridge for his lunch. Tender and juicy and will definitely make again. Thanks for the recipe!

Strawberry Cobbler I

This was very good!!! I had doubled mine because I had 2 pints of berries. I only used a half cup of water still and used 2 tbsp. of cornstarch. Excellent. Had made this for dessert tonight and got very good ratings from all family members! Had the garlic parmesean chicken for dinner first. Which was also excellent. Thanks for a terrific recipe.!

Kielbasa with Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2011
Just wanted to say that I finally tried this at it was great! I have a family of 11 to feed, so I had to increase the butter, parmesan cheese, and pasta. The only changes I did was that I did not have enough kielbasa, so I also used Italian sausage with it. Added just a couple of extras, some Italian seasoning and a couple of dashes of Franks hot sauce. Also I had simmered my dish about a half hour or so. It takes a while for my water to boil for all the pasta I have to make. Didn't have angel hair, but used thin spaghetti, turned out just as well. Everyone really liked it and enjoyed the noodles as well. Will be making this again. Thanks for a great recipe!

Grandma's Farmhouse Turkey Brine

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2010
Just wanted to say that this is the best brine I have ever used! I tried this year and everyone could not stop talking about how good this was. I had a 25 lb turkey, had to feed 15 people and I had put my turkey in a cooler filled with ice and I had to add more water to cover the turkey but it still worked. Cooked my turkey the Michiganer way as I always do and what a moist, tender, juicy, great tasting turkey. Thank you very much for this recipe. Will be my traditional recipe all the time.

Granny Kat's Pumpkin Roll

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2010
This was absolutely AWESOME!!!!!! I made this exactly the way the recipe called for, except I did use the 11 by 17 cookie sheet and it came out perfect. I also rolled it the second time the same direction I rolled the first time. No cracks!! Came out just like the picture. I used parchment paper and sprayed it with Pillsbury baking spray with flour in it. This was my very first pumpkin roll and was very nervous about making it. I did roll it in a damp towel sprinkled with confectioners sugar like the recipe called for and I let it cool off for 25 minutes and had no problem with the icing squishing out or anything. Do follow this recipe exactly and you should have no problems. My son in law said it tasted just like his grandmother made. Didn't haave lemon juice, used vanilla like another reader did. Very goood!!! Even the pumpkin haters in my house liked it including me. I wish I good give this more stars, will always use this recipe. Thank you for a most wonderful recipe Hope you have other recipes you can share with us

Ed Zieba's Famous Family Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2008
These were the best pork chops ever! Just wanted to thank you very much for this recipe. My husband and family said that these were the best pork chops they ever had. The only change I did was put the seasoned salt on both sides of the chops, sprinkled the tops with garlic powder and worcestershire sauce. Absolutely delicious, tender and yummy!!! Thanks again for this recipe. My husband wants me to make it again next week. Is on the top of my list for dinners to make.
