Chicken, Fennel and Mushroom Soup

I can't really rate this recipe. I totally changed it into a kinda creamy stir fry over rice. Used cubed chicken, mushrooms, red pepper, celery, lemon pepper Then sherry ... A little corn starch in the cream and presto. Sherried chicken over rice. Just sharing, I'm sure the soup is great. I wish I had fennel on hand. Maybe next time.

Baked Beef Stew

I have made a lot of beef stew in my life, but none as good as this. I added a few herbs, and fresh leeks. it needed to cook to long for the liquid so I added a cup,of broth, but pretty much kept to the recipe. It's rich and full,of flavor. it's my recipe for stew from now on. Thanks

Moist Persimmon Cookie

I gave this 3stars because I may have messed this up. I put vanilla in other than that I followed the recipe perfectly. My cookies were not nice looking at all, I can't imagine making these again.

Jalapeno Pepper Jelly

Prepared exactly as directed. I did make sure that all liquid was drained and dry out of both peppers. I used my vita mix to chop green peppers. They need to be really small pieces. After canning and while cooling I lightly turned jars upside down and back once in a while to keep peppers from floating to top. I like this jelly because it's not to hot. Just hot enough for me. If you like it hotter Read other reviews.

Frozen Strawberry Yogurt

I've only made Frozen Yogurt twice. This one was not as good as the last recipe I used. I'm afraid the condensed milk give this a odd texture. It was not nearly as good as the one I made using sugar to sweeten. It was icy in the machine and I had to scrape down the sides a couple of times. I will not make it again. Think you can find a better recipe.

Papa's Vinegar Chicken

OMG. My husband and I loved this chicken. My husband said "Don't tell anyone about his recipe we can cook it for company and be a big hit". I love vinegar and it had just a hint of it when it finished on the BBQ. Be careful not to overcook in the vinegar it will still cook more on the grill.

Chicken Breasts with Herb Basting Sauce

This is one of the best chicken recipes I have ever tried. The only thing that I did different was to bake it much longer. I guess my chicken breasts were very thick. I did uncover so the breast would brown at the end. I basted it a few times and then made a thin gravy out of the drippings with milk and flour. Yummy!
