The flavor of this is wonderful. I attemtped to make a pineapple upside down cake and used this recipe, following the instructions in the 1st review. It tastes wonderful and is nice and moist but I had a huge problem with it not getting done in the middle. After baking it a bit longer, I finally scooped out the gooey raw part from the middle and put it back in the oven all by itself so as not to dry the rest of the cake out. The outside part was perfectly cooked, my middle just wouldnt get done. My oven is not completely reliable, so I will blame this on my oven, not the recipe. After the middle part finally got done, I just dumped the whole thing in a pan and will cover it up with whipped cream. Looks pretty bad, but tastes really good. I will make this again.
