Baking and cooking desserts are my favorite! cooking for Holidays
My favorite family cooking traditions
My grandmother recipes, she is italian and she is the best cook ever, as a child I have the most fun cooking with her and getting messy, and of course, tasting her dishes. Now I continue tha tradition with my own daughter and she always have lots of fun, and hubby is so pleased too!
My cooking triumphs
My firts Thanksgiving Dinner! being from South America, I was clueless with my first Turkey and Pumpkins, everything turn out wonderfull and I was so proude of my self! My daughter's firts Birthday was very good too, we invite a lot of people and I spend more than 4 days cooking for friends and family, they were so impressed, and I was so happy, and exausted!
My cooking tragedies
mmmm... I'm not sure I actually have a tragedy, because at the end they where still edible, plus you learn for next time... but I'm always looking for new recipes, and sometimes I didn't find the best ones...I learned not to try something new for special ocassions, better try-it before..

Moist Banana Muffins
This is so good! EASY and Yummy! First time made the recipe as stated. Second time I use LOW fat mayo and I substitute 1 cup of whole wheat flour, and they where as good as before. Give it a try!

Yellow Cake Made from Scratch
I was very hesitant about triyng this cake, and just in case I bought a box of mix, but I didn't use it, because this cake was wonderfull! I use 2 9 inch round pans and I didn't use the water bath, and it was great, I used for my daughter's birthday cake with Rick's buttercream frosting and everyone loved-it!
