Smoked Fish Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2012
Great recipe. For those of you that are disappointed that it doesn't taste like the gulf coast version might not be using the right fish. We use mullet and the flavor also depends on the person smoking the millet. I am from the gulf coast and we smoke the millet with oak and then make the dip. You can come close with other fish but it just isn't the same.

Corn-Bacon Chowder

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2009
Wonderful dish. My whole family enjoyed it and it is great to make and take to someone's home. I fix it for my father and he can eat it with a sandwich for a yummy lunch. I cook the recipe completely as is.

I made this for a family reunion and it was wonderful. Now everybody wants the recipe. I made enough for 30 people and almost all of it was gone and when we got home my husband polished it off.

Honey Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2008
There were absolutely no leftovers. I cooked this with roasted potatoes and fresh cream corn. It was fabulous. However next time I will put aluminum foil under the meat. It was hard to clean up. I also used worstershire instead of vinegar.

This was absolutely wonderful. I tried three recipes before I decided this is the best one. However I used the icing from clone of a cinnabon.

Imitation Crab Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2008
This is absolutely wonderful for a Thanksgiving appetizer to keep your guests busy. Use it like a dip with some Ritz crackers. Cheaper alternative to serving shrimp cocktail and gives a touch of seafood to your menu.

Apricot Cream Cheese Thumbprints

I don't like sugar cookies so I decided to try these. They are wonderful. My hubby who doesn't have a sweet tooth ate 15 for breakfast. Made during Christmas these look wonderful on a tray. Make with several different kind of preserves for a festive look and taste. Thanks for the great recipe
