Waffles I

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2009
I made this just as-is, and it was amazing! My husband, who is strangely picky about his waffles, said he has never had homemade waffles that tasted like restaurant waffles. Success!! I'm making them again tonight, and I'm thinking about using it as the base for the French Toast waffles too!

Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2009
My family LOVES these cookies! I didn't have the Mexican vanilla, so I followed the suggestion to substitute 6 tsp. of regular vanilla. I also followed the tip to leave the cookies on the sheet for 10 minutes after taking them out of the oven. They're amazing!

PJ's Sweet Potato Mash

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2008
I made this for Thanksgiving with my inlaws with a few alterations. I didn't use the horseradish (didn't have any) and used my own discretion with brown sugar. It was a hit! And today is Christmas with the inlaws, and it's been requested, so here I am getting the ingredient list to go make it again!

Soft Breadsticks

Just made these tonight, and love them! Instead of the sesame seeds, I also used the garlic powder and parmesan cheese. They turned out amazing.

Candy Cane Cooler

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2008
I haven't made this yet, but I'm planning on it. Just wanted to comment that a good way to avoid choking is to crush the candy cane(s) before adding to the blender. Kinda thought that would be common sense, especially with young kids consumming... But ok...
