Fiery Fish Tacos with Crunchy Corn Salsa

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2012
This is the most delicious fish taco recipe ever. Even my kiddos love it. I didn't change anything at all, followed the recipe exactly, and it's wonderful. It's one of our new family favorites. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe, we wanted to try fish tacos for a long time but didn't like most of the recipes, this one is PERFECT!

Candied Apples II

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2009
This recipe is wonderful! I think the negative reviewers are obviously unexperienced candy makers. This recipe clearly states what temperature to cook it too. Mine turned out wonderfully. The candy was nice and solid , we were able to bite through the candy coating, it wasn't sticky or gooey and we had a nice crunch. Absolutely delicious and well deserved five stars.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Delicious! Recipe is perfect as is. We do like a tad bit sweeter cheese cake so I add 2 cups of sugar rather than 1 1/2 cups.

Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2009
This was wonderful! I used fresh mushrooms rather than canned mushrooms because I don't care for the flavor of mushrooms from a tin can. lol I did everything same. When using fresh mushrooms they make more juices because the water cooks from them, so I added a little more flour. It gave us more sauce which is what we love, the saucier the better. The seasonings and everything for this recipe is fantastic and DO NOT LEAVE OUT THE WINE! The wine is one of the key ingredients for the right flavor to this recipe. Five stars from my family.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2009
This recipe is perfect! It creates fluffy nicely rounded topped muffins. The flavor is delicious and no changes are needed. I have also found, that the recipe it's self, leaving the blueberries out, makes a wonderful general muffin base recipe that you can add any ingredient to for special muffins, like strawberries and other fruints. Also, I added miniture marshmellows, gramcracker chunks and chocolate chips once and made a S'mores muffin and it was amazing. Great recipes all the way around.

Storybook Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
I love this recipe, but I have to give it four stars rather than five for the following reasons. The baking time was entirely to long, perhaps because of altitude differances? I found 12 minutes made them burn, and cut back the bake time several times until they came out perfect, Finally settled at 7 1/2 minutes baking time for a perfectly browned and soft cookie!! The dough was a bit bland, so I added 1 tsp. ginger 1 tsp allspice 1 tsp cloves and 1/2 tsp ginger. The first batch I made and followed the recipe exact and was not pleased that 1/2 of my cookies were ruined due to finding an appropriate cooking time. the second batch I made with my alterations. This recipe is a four but mine with alterations got rave reviews.

Monkey Bread I

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2008
This recipe was so incrediabley easy, my children helped make this with no trouble. It's absolutely delicious. I didn't have a bunt pan so I used a large round pan, and placed a cookie sheet under it in case of spills and easier removing from the oven. Even if I had a bunt pan I would have placed a cookie sheet under it for the same reason. Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe. I tried another recipe somewhere else where you make the bread dough and it didn't turn out anywhere near as good as this one!! Five stars from my family.

Lemon Cream Pasta with Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2008
Ya know what bugs me? So many people down rate a recipe and post all of the alterations they made and don't even try the recipe as written and the recipe it's self gets a lower grade than it deserves! I made this recipe just as written and it was absolutely wonderful!! Delicious, perfectly balanced flavors and perhaps the idea of baking the chicken is to reduce the fat from pan cooking in oils. The idea of cooking the pasta in the chicken broth with the seasons and lemon juice is brilliant because it really holds in the flavor! Wonderful, We love it!! Not to be petty, but it's really rediculous how so many discredit a recipe they don't even truly try because they make all of the changes, they're only rating their own recipes. Kudos for sharing this recipe, it's great!! Five stars from my family.

Cinco de Layer Dip with Fiesta Salsa

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2008
YUMMY!!!!! We loved this recipe. The best layered dip recipe we've tried yet. We didn't have chipolte peppers so we used chipolte seasoning cubes ( 5 cubes to one pint of sour cream) and it turned out fantabulous!! Thank you for sharing this recipe, it is really good. We'd give it more stars if there were more to offer!

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2008
Followed the recipe exactly as written and they turned out fantastic. We loved them. The batter was very stiff and made a wonderful moist muffin. We loved the way the cream cheese puffed up into the streusel topping making it very beautiful and inviting. Everyone loved them. Great flavor, great appearance, this one is a keeper! 5 stars from our family.

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2008
By far, the best bread we have ever made. I've made bread for years and never could find a recipe that worked the way I wanted it to. It's wonderful as is. We also made it with some added caraway seed and that was fantastic too. I don't feel it's to sweet at all, and will continue to use the suggested amount of sugar... Five stars from our family, we love it. Thanks for sharing.

Amish Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2008
These are a far cry out from cookies and distinctly resemble strange cookie flavored pancakes!! Almost identicle to the 'Amish Sugar Cake' recipe with more flour. You should never put this much liquid into a cookie dough, it makes batter! These oven baked 'pancakes' do taste good but they flatten out into large puddles. We had to take the 'batter' and spread it into a well greased and floured 9x13 pan and baked it. Sorry, this recipe is a big two thumbs down.
