Blue Cheese Burgers

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
I loved it. The only reason it is getting 4 is because I think this needs an egg. Mine fell apart when cooking but I did salvage it and it was so worth the salvaging...also I increased the hot sauce to 1 tbsp for only 2 burgers in total - it made it a buffalo/blue cheese burger - YUM! And definitely even better with caramelized onions on top.

Chicken Diablo

Very good recipe - I love the sauce. I baked mine instead but still reserved the sauce which is a must! I only increased the garlic because I am a garlic fanatic. :)

Spicy Tuna Fish Cakes

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2010
Hey, I am the recipe submitter. This recipe was featured in the daily videos on Jan 8th, 2013 and I just want to confirm that video is made by AR and not by me, so if there are differences from what is actually written here, that is not my doing. Either way, have fun and play around with your ingredients! :)

Tilapia Pitas

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2010
AMAZING! I never had a fish taco before this and was kinda grossed out by the thought of it, but I wolfed this down so fast because it was just that good. I only left out the anchovies and everything else was the same. So good - thanks for making fish fun!!!!!

Carne Guisada II

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
So good. I made it more like a stew and added potatoes, red peppers and some garlic. Love the kick it has but it's not too much and the meat alone would be awesome in a sandwich or tortilla - definitely will make again. I only did 6.5 hours and the meat was wonderfully tender.

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2010
A very simple but tasty recipe. I have made this both in the oven and last night on the grill. The grill definitely wins but doesn't it always? Only change is cutting down on the butter. Thanks for a great recipe where even the bf who thinks he doesn't like curry, likes this. :)

Fiesta Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2010
This is a great recipe! I just had to do 4 stars because I did modify it quite a bit. I didn't use an egg and added taco seasoning to the meat and cooked it prior to stuffing the pepper. Cooked the rice in chicken broth for more flavour. Topped the peppers with cheese and served with sour cream. So good! Thanks for a great base to work from!

Broccoli with Rigatoni

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2010
:\ sorry. I hate to give a less than great review but it has to be done sometimes as so many of us with particular tastes rely on these. I think this would have been great with an alfredo sauce...but there is just something about the basil and broccoli that really doesn't work for me or my family. We all agreed a sauce would have helped but on its own the basil is too over powering.

Brenda's Pepperoni Chicken Rollups

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2010
Just a great idea! I did change a little but this still deserves 5 stars. I added garlic and onions to Hunt's tomato sauce as well as a little bit of chourico, finely diced which is a spicy Portuguese sausage. I just used that in place of the pepperoni int he sauce because I love that sausage but the pepperoni would have been just as good. I didn't pan fry the chicken at all- just rolled them, put them in a baking dish, covered with the sauce and baked for about 35 minutes. So good! One of the best dishes I have made in a while from AR. Thanks for posting!

Caramelized Onion and Gorgonzola Pizza

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2010
This. Is. Heavenly. I made pita pizzas with it. I did as other reviewers and used mozzarella as a base and when the bf asked what I was making he looked very concerned but then ate it in seconds...and then ate the rest of mine. Absolutely delicious. I also added garlic and sun dried tomatoes. YUM.

Black Beans and Rice

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2010
Awesome recipe. My mom thought it was those pre-made packages of rice because of all the flavour. I did add more garlic and used chicken broth. Is very good with sour cream on top.

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2010
It was pretty good. It kept the chicken moist and I added more garlic and onions. I'd have to say you got to love balsamic for this dish to be excellent. My mom loved it, but I had a little hesitation because it was quite tangy but overall it was a good recipe. Thank you!

Amazing salad! Gets rave reviews every time! I just doubled the dressing and have used both pecans and walnuts: definitely prefer the pecans. This would be a great holiday salad. Thank you!!
