Quesadilla Jalapeno Spread

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2010
I did change this a bit but I am giving it 5 stars because as is would have been great for quesadillas but I added curry and mustard to this to make tuna salad with and it is absolutely amazing. Just want to put that out there so people know this spread/mix is versatile. :)

Cinnamon Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2010
I loved it! It was sweet but not too sweet because of the char of the BBQ. I only added more garlic because I am a garlic fanatic but otherwise followed to a T. Thanks!!

Curried Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2010
Loved this! It was simple and tasty, even the curry skeptics loved it! I just did what some other reviewers did and I cut the tomato sauce and diced tomatoes in half as well as the sugar. I added some chili pepper flakes for extra heat. Thanks for adding variety into our menu!!

Grilled Onion Potatoes

Reviewed: May 15, 2010
Great idea but needs more seasoning or a different salad dressing. I added roasted garlic and herbs to the potatoes but I found the Italian to be bland. However, I made some with Greek Oregano and Feta dressing those were so much better and tasty. So I guess everyone choose a dressing you love for these.

PHILLY Creamy Basil and Red Pepper Pasta

Reviewed: May 12, 2010
Yum. I did use garlic cream cheese and added some onions to the cooked chicken but the base of the roasted red peppers and basil cream sauce was amazing! Love this recipe and will definitely make again.

Chicken Broccoli Shells

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2010
combination was amazing! However, a little more work makes this much better. Added chopped onions, garlic, chili pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning to cooked chicken & broccoli. Add some breadcrumbs, shredded cheese and spooned this into the shells, then coated it with alfredo sauce and more cheese = amazing. 25 mins covered, 10 mins uncovered with a couple mins on broil.

Jalapeno Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2010
I did change the way I cooked it but kept the seasonings and marinade as is and the combination is amazing. I love the cinnamon even though I was weary of it. Like others, I browned the chicken and then poured liquid mix in to simmer on low. Sauce is great over rice. YUM.

Spinach and Feta Pita Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2010
This was a great base for a recipe. I did add garlic, red onions and subbed sun-dried tomatoes instead of roma which I think really made the dish. I wish there was a way to give 4 1/2 stars because it is a great recipe, but I changed it a bit that I have to go with 4. I also added chicken to make it a complete meal but without the chicken would be just as good. Thanks!

Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2010
I did add salsa to the broth but this deserves 5 stars for making me love quinoa and for making the pickiest of all eaters: my boyfriend enjoy it. It is absolutely great with these Mexican seasonings, beans and corn. Salsa is a great addition too. Thanks!!

Taco Turkey Wraps

Thanks for making boring deli sandwiches that much better with these wraps! I mixed the salsa into the sour cream mix and added jalapenos because I will add that to just about anything! Very tasty with deli chicken also!

Sesame Beef Bites

I marinated overnight and panfried instead of baking. I also mixed in teriyaki right into the marinade. Served with Udon noodles. Very yummy - the bf went back for seconds!

Roast Beef Stuffed Shells

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2010
Now, I did change this recipe a bit but I give it 5 stars because the basics work and I was very skeptical of roast beef in shells but it was so delicious. It reminded me of poutine. I used the left over beef from pepperoncini beef on this site. I pan fried some onions and garlic, added the shredded beef to heat through - added shredded cheese and garlic cream cheese to make it creamy and stuffed the shells - covered with gravy and cheese (no horseradish, but the beef was already spicy). If your shells get tough - I covered mine for 15 minutes, cooked uncovered for 8 and 2 minutes on broil. The bf ate seconds and was asking for 3rds! If you like poutine this is sooo similar in flavours. Loved it.

Ricotta Gnocchi

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2010
I have never had nor made gnocchi. This actually was easy - a bit messy with the flour and time consuming but easy! It was great. I just added some Italian seasoning to the mix and used my own bolognese sauce which paired up with the gnocchi perfectly. I recommend everyone pair it up with a meaty sauce. Even the BF liked it and he was a skeptic. Thanks so much!!

Jalapeno Chicken II

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
A very yummy recipe. The only thing I did differently was butterfly the chicken and brush the insides with cream cheese and placed sliced jalapenos in the inside. I also baked them for 25 minutes ate 400F. This can easily be done with prosciutto to cut on fat also. Thanks for the idea of putting jalapenos in chicken!

Spicy Garlic Salmon

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2010
okay...normally I change a recipe to my personal taste but I left this exactly as is other than I only had one salmon fillet...I am not kidding when I say - AMAZING marinade. Amazing. Eating fish when dieting can get boring, but this was so spicy, and tangy that it was so enjoyable to eat. Excellent excellent recipe. My only tiny modification was cooking time- 15 minutes was all I needed. Thanks for making eating fish a really tasty experience!!

Moroccan Meat Cigars

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2010
Okay, I changed it completely but I give 5 because how can I rate this recipe any lower if I changed it so much. I loved the concept so it gets a 5. I loved my version also, so it gets a 5. I used ground turkey, curry powder, cumin, garlic, onions, cayenne and some garlic cream cheese once it cooked and some sweet and sour sauce. Let it cool and then folded each sheet of phyllo in half and rolled this mixture. It cooked for about 20 minutes and they were amazing. Highly recommend as a main or an appetizer.

BBQ Feta and Hot Banana Pepper Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2010
I love the idea of feta and hot peppers but had to give a 4 because you need some more seasoning, an egg, breadcrumbs, bbq sauce and garlic cream cheese makes this the ultimate moist burger.
