About this Cook
I am a wife, Mom to 4,(1 son, 3 daughters and a terrific daughter-in-law) and Grandma to the 2 most beautiful children in the world!!! I have owned and operated 4 different restaurants in the last 23 years. I manage a cafeteria for 300+ and really enjoy it. Always looking for new recipes and ideas.
My favorite things to cook
Anything on a flat top grill. I love to bake desserts and share with family and friends, they are my best critics.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Sunday, Roast beef dinner. Thanksgiving is my alltime favorite, I love having everyone here to enjoy my hard work. The best part of the day is when my husband and son do the dishes!
My cooking triumphs
Anything new that I try, that is a hit is a triumph to me.
My cooking tragedies
When I first got married, my husband shot a deer. Being a city girl, I had never eaten or cooked venision. I put ribs in the crock pot with BBQ sauce and went on my way. When we sat down to eat them 8 hours later, it was a DISASTER!! the grease from the ribs, along with the sauce was not a good combination. He asked me to PLEASE never make that again!

Creamy Orange Cake
I made this cake the first time following the orange recipe. The next time I used lemon in place of the orange. Talk about good, everyone loved both flavors. I wouldn't change a thing!

Peanut Butter Cereal O's
These are easy to make and so yummy. I used chunky peanut butter and have also used M & M's.( The new pretzel kind were awesome.) I will make over & over!
