Marinara Sauce

IDK what happened to mine but it came out really really thin like a soup. It was delicious none the less. I agree with the other posters who used less oil. To me it felt more than tasted oily but it was still very good. Honestly I kind of liked it as a soup if I made it again and turned out the same way (soup) I think i would add chunks of old bread to it so this delicious recipe can now have two purposes bread or pasta.

Slow Cooker Lentils and Sausage

This is a delicious and easy recipe. This is our second time making it. I work a late shift so I don't have the time to cook dinner like I used to. This little crockpot has become a dinner saver. The first time followed the recipe to the letter and it was delicious. But it needed a little more flavoring so we added 8 cloves of garlic, an onion, some 7 seasons, and paprika and it was delicous. we are garlic eaters so we use alot of garlic and seasoning thats just our preference but with or without the additions its delicious either way. I also cut down the sausage. I only used one and again thats just our taste preference the meat just got a little much for us. Overall easy and delicous and makes enough to go in lunch for the next day ;)

Beef Burgundy II

It was very delicious and relatively easy to make. Would definetly make it again. I didn't give it five stars just because it was tasty but was lacking something. I can't put my finger on it but what ever that little something was it does not change the fact that this was a delicious dish.

Great Grandma's Pork and Sauerkraut

OMG SOOOO GOOOOOD!!!!! I had some left over sauerkraut and had no idea what to do with it I thinksauerkraut is going to become a staple in our pantry from now on. Only changes I made I added chopped onion and garlic a I marinated the pork chunks in brown sugar and pulaski mustard mmmmmm sooo incredibely good. Will defintely make this again. I served it with a side of green onions and mashed potatoes.

Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting

for the most part followed the recipe except added a couple tablespoons of butter. THe frosting came out very rich and luxurious. In fact,it was a little to rich for my taste but taste wise it was delicious and incredibly easy to make. I made two devil foods cakes and had alot of frosting left over. I baked the cakes for a family dinner some members did not like it but I think eating a cake and a frosting made from real ingredients and no proplyne glycol must be a foreign taste for their taste buds.

Southern Spain-Style Gazpacho

this was simply put outstanding. I did make some changes. I used red bell peppers because I can not stand the taste of green bell pepper I tripled the amount of garlic I used a whole cucumber and instead of cayenne pepper I used spanish paprika I also increased the amount of balsamic and added a splash of sherry wine.

French Beef Stew

excellent recipe. I also deglazed the pan with red wine I added alot more garlic (10 cloves five in the beginning and the other five towards the end of the dish) and did not have dijon mustard but used 1 tbls of a polish stone ground mustard that really set this dish off. We are not big meat eaters but this is definetly going on the monthly menu plan. I also used about a tablespoon of fresh thyme instead dried. Thank you for posting this recipe corwynn darkholme

Low-Fat Blue Cheese Dressing

Just made this tonight. It is delicious. Not something I would make on a regular basis becuase even though I am using lowfat cottage cheese and yogurt its still dairy. I personally like the garlicky flavor. I did not find this bland at all even with me cutting the salt out totally. Delicious dressing will definetly make again.
