My favorite things to cook
hurm..i love to cook anything actually :) but mostly poulty recipes as i dont take red meat.. besides main meal, i love baking cakes..my favorite moist chocolate cake
My favorite family cooking traditions
a must during Eid celebration is my mum's rendang(chicken with lots of local spices) and ketupat(glutinous rice cooked with coconut milk and black eyed peas)...still learning to make the casing to wrap the ketupat!

My cooking tragedies
many minor ones like getting little splashes of hot oil when deep frying stuff..that's y i will stand a mile away from the frying pan!LOL! nothing serious though...thank God :)

Chickpea Salad with Red Onion and Tomato
I made this super quick & easy recipe over & over again.Just love chickpeas!Instead of canned beans,I always boil the hard chickpeas till cooked as this taste a lot better and u can cook them in a big batch,and store in the fridge for future use.For this recipe,I used 2 cups of cooked beans and added extra lemon juice. I sometimes add a handful of fresh chopped mint and a 1/4 green bell peppers,diced just for variation.This salad is very filling and yes,it looks pretty & appetizing :)

Raspberry Lemon Muffins
i made these with fresh strawberries coz i don't have frozen raspberries.some people used 1 egg instead of 2 whites,and so did i..everything was ok except the strawberries got all mushy..maybe coz i used fresh berries instead of frozen?i also put the batter directly in the greased muffin tray without any liners,as some said they stick badly and a lot went to waste..

Bread Pudding II
this is the best bread pudding i've done so far! i read some reviews and decided to use 3 egss instead to avoid the pudding being soggy.it turned out perfect texture.i added some toasted chopped walnuts to give it some crunch n nutty flavor. This recipe is superdooper easy n yummie!!definitely making it again n again...
