We had something similar at a restaurant and were trying to find a recipe. Stumbled across this one, added some red pepper flakes, used mussels and doubled the wine and butter.....mmmmm....jackpot!!!!!! This is added to the favorites box!!

Famous Japanese Restaurant-Style Salad Dressing

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2011
This recipe is wonderful! I've always wondered how I can make the same salad dressing that I eat when I go to a sushi restaurant.! What's even better, is that it is super easy to make! Just toss in the ingredients whole, and you don't spend time mincing or chopping. Love the texture to the dressing!

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
Not the topping I was expecting when eating a peach cobbler. Not horrible tasting, but I'll try other recipes before I make this one again.

Bran Flax Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2010
These are amazingly delicious! I'm always searching for a way to sneak in the good stuff for our meals and snacks, and this was a winner! I used 1.5 c applesauce in place of apples, increased the oat bran to 1.5 c, added half a bag of blueberries and left out the raisins and nuts. They were moist and yummy! I made one batch w/o blueberries and used raisins instead, they were a bit dry for me in comparison. But as one other reviewer said, as long as you keep the wet to dry ratio about the same, you're in good shape.

Tasty Tuna Burgers

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2010
These were surprisingly delicious!! I've been looking for ways to spruce up canned tuna and this recipe is a keeper! I agree with another reviewer in that they somewhat taste like crab cakes. Yummy! I pretty much tripled the ingredients, played with random herbs I had in my drawer, and will do this all over again next week!

Spanish Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2010
This was great and as a bonus, super easy! I modified the ingredients based on what I had on hand, and the taste was great! Seasoned the meat before browning. I used red bell pepper instead of green, didn't have bouillon or stock so I just added water and made sure I added extra seasonings to make sure the taste wouldn't be lacking. Added oregano, salt, and cayenne. Also used chicken leg meat since I had a lot from a recent sale. At the end when I added cheese, I increased the temp to 500 to give it a good texture. Served with sour cream. Will make again!!!

Angela's Awesome Enchiladas

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2010
This was surprisingly very tasty! The cream of chicken soup is not something I've had with enchiladas before, but I was impressed and am definitely saving this one! I didn't have taco seasoning on hand, but I seasoned the chicken with some cumin and other typical mexical seasonings. Other than that, I followed the recipe exactly. Yummy!

Refried Beans Without the Refry

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
These were VERY easy and tasted great! I'd reduce the salt a bit, but other than that I wouldn't change a thing.

Tex-Mex Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
I was a bit skeptical having turkey in what sounded like a version of chicken tortilla soup recipe, but WOW! This was really good! I played with the seasonings and used whatever I had on hand, left out the beans, and my family was licking their bowls! This is a keeper and definitely beats turkey sandwiches!!!!

Butternut Squash Pizzas with Rosemary

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2008
This is a great recipe that can have additional toppings as desired and is a great switch from the traditional pizza. My husband looked at me crazy when I started making this but ended up putting some chicken on his pieces and dipping it in BBQ sauce, loving every mouthful! I added mozzarella like other reviewers suggested. Yummy! This is a keeper!
