Sausage and Bow-Tie Pasta Florentine

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
Delicious and easy! I made this exactly how recipe was written. The only thing I'd change is the jar of alfredo sauce because it was a little salty, however, all the flavors came together nicely! thanks always looking for a non-tomato way to serve pasta!

Melissa's Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2010
This was super tasty! I left out the milk and added more Italian bread crumbs. I also added a teaspoon of red pepper flakes and tablespoon of Italian seasoning to the mixture. The Tomato soup topped it off nicely. It turned out perfect! I will make this again!

I made this in the crock pot and its fantastic! Instead of jalapenos and green pepper, I added canned chopped green chilies and it was the perfect kick for our tastes. Delicious and so easy!

Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: May 13, 2009
I read the reviews and thought i'd share how I tweaked it for our tastes..it came out yummy! I sauteed the onions with a tablespoon of minced garlic. Then, when I added the ground beef, I added a tablespoon of worcestershire sauce. I left out all the water and used Mushroom soup instead of mushrooms and used tomato sauce (not paste). Then, when i added the mushroom soup to the meat mixture, I put in 2 teaspoons of crushed red pepper, teaspoon of black pepper, and 1/2 beef boullion. At last 15 mins I added a teaspoon of cornstarch..simmered and put over fusili pasta...I would definitely make again!

Country Fried Chicken

Reviewed: May 1, 2009
I used boneless chicken tenders (because i was worried about cooking time) and added extra garlic salt and paprika to the flour mixture. It was tasty and the small chicken pieces cooked nicely. I'd add more seasoning to the chicken after coating in the future though for more flavor.

Italian Sausage Jambalaya

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2009
This was really tasty! I used Johnsonville hot italian sausage and the same ingredients below. (except I used Tomatoes with green chiles) And I only have 5 minute rice on hand, so I cooked that separately with the chicken broth instead of water. Then, added that to the simmering tomatoes mix during the last 5 minutes of simmering...stirred it up and was super yummy! Thanks!

Stuffed Tomato Basil Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2008
So Good! I marinated the chicken overnight in Newmans own herb and garlic marinade. Then, I stuffed the breast with shredded chedder cheese, mushrooms and basil leaves. I took the advice from previous reviews and cooked the bacon in a pan till almost done before wrapping the chicken, placed chicken on a baking sheet, 15 mins on each side at 475 and Delicious! My Boyfriend asked me when i'll make this again! Thanks!

Slow Cooker Green Beans, Ham and Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2008
I added an extra can of 33% less sodium chicken broth (wasn't sure how salty it'd be) and a can of regular chicken broth in the beginning when i put the beans in. With the beans, I also added a tablespoon of minced garlic, an extra tablespoon of seasoning salt, sprinkled with parsley, and added a carton of fresh mushrooms. They came out delicious! I cooked it for 2 hours on high, then added potatoes and a ham steak cut in half, for another 3 hours on low. Green beans and potatoes came out perfect! Will make again!

Beef and Roasted Red Pepper Sandwiches

This was a quick and tasty recipe. I used french rolls (easy to find at the grocery store) and swiss cheese (my boyfriends favorite), and a whole jar of roasted red peppers. I added a little fresh garlic, oregano, salt and pepper to the au jus..YUMMY! I will definitely make this again!!!

Cheeseburger Pepper Cups

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
Very Tasty! I followed the recipe for two people. I did spice up the meat per previous reviews by adding 2 tablespoons of oregano, fresh parsley, 2 tablespoons of seasoning salt, and a little extra worcestershire sauce when I was browning it. This gave the meat the extra zing it needed...I used white rice instead of brown, which worked just as well. Boyfriend loved it and he hates tomato sauce! Will make again!
