About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking all sorts of comfort foods. Meatloafs, salads, and marinating meats.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Our family grew up with the tradition of mixing our homemade french dressing in our potato salad, for years I always thought potato salad was pink.

The Best Meatballs
Very good, cheated and used canned parm cheese, dried parsley and dried bread crumbs. A little too time consuming for what it is. That is why I cheated, still very good. And I only used half gr. beef and half sausage. It is the only way I make meatballs now. :)

Zippy Beef Casserole
Thought this was pretty good, I used velveeta cheese instead of the cheddar (had to use it). Added some mixed veggies. Some more seasonings, garlic powder, paprika and some others.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings
Oh my this was good!!! The chicken was so tender. I also added some veggies, to round out the meal. I just cut the biscuit dough into small pieces and it came out great, not doughy at all.
