Baked Kale Chips

Very good! I baked at 300 degrees for just under 20 minutes, and they were perfect! A nice crunchy treat to enjoy plain or with your favorite dip, and no carbs - YAY! Thank you!

Horseradish Sauce

Very good! I used dried parsley instead of the dill, since I am not a fan. Also used more horseradish than called for, a dash of Tobasco, and a pinch of steak seasoning salt. I am serving it with beef brisket. Super yummy! Thank you!

Cake Mix Cookies VIII

Very yummy and super easy cookie recipe! I added chopped pecans instead of chocolate chips. Used 1/2 butter and 1/2 peanut oil, plus added 1/4 c brown sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla. Rich, soft, and deliciious! Where's the milk? NOM NOM NOM

Easy Pot Roast

For some reason this didn't turn out too well for me. Roast was still tough, but veggies were great. Also seemed a little bland, even though I used even more spices than suggested here. DARN!

Hominy and Bacon

Very easy, tasty, and hearty breakfast dish. I used yellow hominy instead of white, and made a butter/flour roux after cooking the bacon and before adding everything into the skillet. It really helped thicken it up quickly. Seasoned it with fresh ground pepper and my favorite seasoning salt. Goes great over biscuits or toast! Serve with eggs on the side, and sprinkle with chopped parsley or green onions to add some color. Will definitely make it again. Thank you for sharing this recipe!

Cheesy Beef Taco Salad

To make it fast and easy, just add a packet of taco seasoning to the browned ground beef (follow package instructions), and serve with a dressing made of sour cream and salsa (proportions to taste). Next stop: YUM CITY!

Burrito Pie

Delicious and very easy recipe! To make it even easier, I skipped cooking the burger and instead used 2 cans of chili, 1 with and one without beans. For the top layer, I combined whipped cream cheese and chili powder and spread that on the top, then covered with the shredded cheese. Serve with sour cream and freshly chopped cilantro. EXCELLENT!
