These were ok, but not great, and not what I wanted. They were too greasy and didn't cook very evenly at all, even when I tried them on a stoneware cookie pan. I also tried adjusting the temp after the first few batches and just couldn't get it to work. They were a little chewy when they got out of the oven, but at room temp they were crunchy through. They weren't terrible, but I won't be using this recipe again.

These were very good, but I definitely would not call them scones. At breakfast this morning we dubbed them "Pear Puddles" :) because the do spread out a good bit and that's what they look like. I used 4 pears (didn't bother to measure, just needed to get rid of them) and because of the reviews I added a little more flavoring. I used cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and some finely grated orange peel just because I had it. They were very tasty! We ate them with a little butter, and they were sweet enough (but not too sweet) that they didn't need anything else. Will make again :) Thank you

So if I cooked it too hot like the idiot that I am, and it curdled, should I try to go ahead and freeze it? Or should I just throw it out and start over? I have a big fam, and guests this weekend, I multiplied this recipe by four and I have a lot of curdled milk, cream, sugar, and eggs. Any help? :(
