Much easier if you just purchase pre-made, frozen meatballs.

Slow Cooker Cocktail Smokies

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2013
Have made these many times but have used a bottle of chili sauce instead of B-B-Q sauce, and a little garlic powder. Always a huge hit!

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2013
My favorite method of doing a turkey breast. I add about 1/2 cup of chicken broth in slow cooker, and a layer of sliced onion. Along with the onion soup, I sprinkle on garlic powder, onion powder and a little rubbed sage. Always moist and flavorful. Have passed this method of turkey breast prep to others who love it!

Best City Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2010
One of my all time favorites...grew-up in Detroit and this was a mainstay in my Mom's kitchen. We do not bake them, just continued braising them in the covered frying pan after browning, adding additional liquid as needed. We also sauteed cut onion and celery first and then browned and brasied the skewers along with the veggies. They were not crispy but we liked them that way! We used pork and stew beef which tenderized during the braising.

I seem to have a problem w/ the baking...egg doesn't seem to cook in relation to the crust. Have drained the zucchini before adding egg, still have the same peoblem. Love the taste after it has been rebaked, just wish I could could get it together!
