My favorite things to cook
I love to bake,probably because I love sweets,however I am trying to broaden my horizons,which is why I love this website!! My favorite things to make are cookies.chocolate chip,cut-outs,you name it.
My cooking tragedies
The first time I tried to make homemade chicken noodle soup, I went to strain the broth out of the pan through the cheese cloth and strainer and realized way too late that I forget the bowl.I poured all the broth down the drain.I was so excited about it too.My husband tried to cheer me up by bringing home some store-bought soup but I still am mad when I think about that.

Fajita Marinade I
Use Sprite! I used 1 1/2 lbs. chicken breast, 1 red and 1 yellow bell pepper, and 1 sweet onion to make kabobs. I substituted Sprite for the water, omitted the salt and added 2 extra tsps of soy sauce, also didn't have cayenne pepper or liquid smoke. I marinated overnight. My husband grilled these while I was at work and he and my daughter finished them off): I only got one little bite that was left on her plate and it was delicious. They loved it

Best Steak Marinade in Existence
I have used this marinade 4 times since finding the recipe..Love It! I made kabobs with top sirloin, onion and peppers Great with roasted potatoes and the last time, I tried mashed potatoes with garlic salt, pepper, and a little rosemary. Yum. It was delicious!!!

Fluffy French Toast
I had buttermilk to use up, so I used 1/2 regular, 1/2 buttermilk, cinnamon swirl bread and lots of real butter in the pan. It was excellent. Thanks..It's a keeper(:
