I didn't have a lot of sausage choice and I bought regular beef sausauge. I didn't feel comfortable adding it in without cooking it, so I did, after sauteeing the onions and garlic. I added the rest of the soup ingredients and brought to the boil. Found it a bit grey looking so I added some peppers for colour. I simmered it for about 20 minutes to cook off some of the liquid, because it seemed a bit watery. I also think it could use more beans because even though I used a whole 19 oz. can it didn't seem enough. The end result, though, was very tasty.
